Limited Runs Progressive Challenge #31: Bears

Today it is Animal Day in The Netherlands.
So a great day to use an animal on my card
and as this month we were given this cute bear
I made these cards for today.
When I thought of what to do for a card, I had
so many ideas, that I ended up making 3 cards.

Card #1
When I looked at the bear-image, it looked like
he was dancing on his own, so I added some music
paper behind him and a Create with TLC sentiment.

I colored all the bears with my watercolor pastels.
I added some musical paper behind the bear and
a cute lace ribbon.
The sentiment is by Create with TLC.
If you click on the above image, you can see the bear dance!
I added an wobble behind the bear.

Card #2
It also looks like the bear can hold something.
How about a coffee cup?!
For this card I used:
Digital coffee paper I bought on Etsy
ribbon by DL.ART,
rubber stamp by Hero Arts
and the coffee rings are dies by Sizzix.
I just love that big cup in his hands.
I cut the hand to move the cup in
and added foam tape to make
it look like he drinks from the cup.

Card #3
As lots of babies are born in our family,
I came up with this cute baby card.
Bears are always cute on baby cards.

I had this cute baby image in my stash:
look at how the baby is also holding a tiny bear!
The sentyment is from an old SU! set.

Thank you for looking.
Be nice to your animals
and have a creative day!

Apple Picking

Today Owen, Raymond and I went apple picking. We have adopted
an apple tree in an orchard close by. We need apples for the
Jewish New Year that is starting tomorrow evening.

Why apples?
It is a custom to dip the apple in honey and wish each other
a very sweet New Year.

For my page I used Club Scrap Tapestry hybrid kit
in combination with the Orchard kit from last year September.
This page is made in Photoshop.

While I was busy with making this page,
I just had to try and make a card for
Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) as well.

Thank you Club Scrap for always have
the right kit at the right moment!

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

I sea coffee!

You know by I love making coffee cards
and I try to make them with all the kits I get
from Club Scrap. This months kit is
called Sea Breeze and here you see what I came up with.

The base of the card is paper from the Picnic kit July 214.
The lettering is done with thinlits as well as the cups.
The design papers are printed from the Sea Breeze
hybrid kit. You find the kit here.

The sea shells are stamped with the Sea Breeze rubber
stamps and colored with pencils.

The inside is also decorated.

Hope you come back on Wednesday,
when there is the Club Scrap
linky party and share more ideas with you.

Thank you for looking and
have a creative day!

Create with TLC vintage pictures

On the Create with TLC blog there are
a lot of vintage pictures and some of them are just great
for making cards.

Just print a few if the images, get some left over scrap paper,
a ribbon and a sentiment and you have a great card.

Here I added a cut out sentiment
and a golden butterfly.
No special techniques on these cards,
just adding the images.

This one is good for any occasion
with the flower image, a little butterfly
and a lace ribbon.

I enter these cards for the
Crate with TLC challenge #21 HERE.

Thank you for looking

Club Scrap June kit: Firecracker

Sharing with you the new hybrid kit by
Club Scrap for June:
It is a very patriotic kit and
absolutely great for 4th of July
celebrations. But as you know
I live in The Netherlands and so we
do not have this celebration, but I came up
with another great use of this kit.
I used the background papers and images to make this
wedding lay-out. It is why I went to Israel.
The Firecracker papers fit the theme wonderfully.
Working on some more pages, that I will share with you
in the next couple of days.
I used photoshop to make this page
and on the Club Scrap website
you can find some tutorial as how to use
the program and make your own pages HERE,
Sharon and Pinchas,
I hope your 4ever after will be
so happy and wonderful.
It was such a pleasure to
be at your wedding.
Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Club Scrap Lavender Linky party

Welcome to the
where you see all kinds of projects
made with the Club Scrap Lavendar May
paper, stamp or hybrit kit.
As I was on vacation last week,
I had my eye on plants that fitted this kit.
So here I share my scrap page with flowers
from Israel.

I made this page with the Lavender Hybrid kit:
You can find this kit HERE.
With photoshop I created the scrap page. Each month
I try to teach myself something new in this program.

If you need some lessons in photoshop,
Club Scrap has created some tutoials for you HERE.
I look at these over and over again to get the hang
of things. It takes me a long time to learn, but
I get it working more and more.

Hope to see you around with the new June kit soon.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Club Scrap April kit: Shibori

Welcome to a new month of Club Scrap goodies.
This month the kit is called Shibori?
What?! you may say, so here a little explanation:
Shibori is a Japenese indigo fabric dying technique
dating back to the 8th century.
There is more explanation on the Club Scrap Blog HERE.

For me this blue and white kit is perfect
to play with for my Jewish Holidays.
For my scrapbookpage, I snapped some quick
photo's of my grandsons, when they where here
for our annual matzo lunch.
(I won't show you how the floor looked afterwards!)

This kit is also great for cards
and because of the blue and white combo,
it combines great with other kits.
For this birthday card I used the cake from
the Club Scrap January Surprise kit.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Club Scrap Surprise Color Blocking

Welcome to my post for the
Januari Surprise Linky Party.

Here my contribution with this month's technique
Color Blocking. You find the original post about
this technique HERE
Mt cards are made with the digital Surprise kit
and my stash of Club Scrap papers.

Form my color blocking cards I printed these
backgrounds from the Surprise Hybrid kit.

Got out some papers from my stash to be
cards and background panels.

Then I stacked the printed papers and
cut them all three together.

Next I divided the papers over the 3 panels
and realized these 3 color blocking backgrounds.
With each background I created a different card.

Card #1
The sentiments you see on the cards
came with the digital kit and were printed
on heavy white paper. Ribbon from my
CS stash (I think it might be from the
Greece kit) and the balloons are punched
out from the many scraps I have saved.
On top of the balloons there are some white
circles stamped, like there are in the
background paper.

Card #2
Same background, different sentiment
and hemp thread. The party hat is a punch
as well as the muffin.

The muffin is made with a punch builder
from Stampin'Up! and Club Scrap paper scraps.

Card #3
For this card yet again a different sentiment
and ribbon. To emphasize the confetti
I added some sequins in different
colors to the card.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Surprise New Year!

Clearing my craft table is not so easy as you think!
All the time nice peaces of scraps come along
and they say: please make me into a card!

So today I found some leftover already folded
for a card Club Scrap Scandanavian green paper,
a sentiment from Create with TLC and a background
from Club Scrap's Surprise kit.
These items where perfect for a New Year card.
I have a box of left over cards from the last Holiday's
and here I will add this one too for the
upcomming Holiday's.
One can never start early enough, right?!

Only a ribbon from my stash and some glitter
holographic stickers and the cardis ready.
I still have some other Holiday items on my table,
let's see what I can wip up this weekend.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
