Simon Says tape it and distress it

Today I had inspiration to make a card for
the Monday and Wednesday Challenge on the
Simon Says Stamp blog. and it turned
out all could be in one card. It took me all day to make,
for i lost my beer stamp and it was a scavenger hunt
to find my beer stamp ( looking for it i also cleaned
my table, but finally found it clinging to my
Michael Strong coffee stamp! :-) )

For the Monday Challenge it was:
Tape it Up!

I just love these miniblueprint stamps CMS 336
by Tim Holtz with the beer and wine stamps.
Now I  make lots of men birthday cards with it.
The celebrate is a die and the wordt is one of the
sentiment stickers by Tim Holtz.
The musical washi tape is perfect for birthday cards.

The background of this card is made with vintage
distress oxide ink. First I colored the card
with a blending tool and with the same color
I stamped the images. The bottles are stamped
in black and colored a little with karisma pencils.
Distress it.

Thank you for looking
and have acreative day!

TJ Gesso and Goosebumps for men

Today I combined two techniques from the new
the gesso resist and goosed stains techniques.

When I made the background it immediately made
me think of clouds and the sea,so I was thinking
this one is great for amen's card.

So I got out the Stampin'Up! set  The Open Sea,
which is a wonderful stampset for men's cards.

Paper and inside sentiment are by Club Scrap.

Thank you for looking.

Cowboys

Over at Gingersnap Creations is a challenge
for making cards with  a "cowboy" theme
and Technique Junkies are sponsering
so here are some of my creations, using
the Faux leather technique.
This technique can be found on the
"Emboss or Die" special CD.
For this card I found a picture on the
internet and the tag and all the other papers
are by Club Scrap.

The inside text i made with the computer.
I found this free font on www.dafont.com
an is called cottonwood.

The cowboy theme is great for male cards. This is one
with a rodeo poster I got of the internet.
Printed out the sentiments and some stars
as an extra touch.
Hope you are inspired to add your card to the challenge and
win some TJ goodies.

Have a creative day!
