When I got out my Club Scrap Winter Shade papers

and the old After Five (2008) stamps, I noticed my

friend Wendy did the same and she made an awesome

ATC box with it you just want to see at her blog HERE.

My wish for the next year is for Club Scrap to make a

happy new year stamp, for in all the years Iam amember there is none

and I had to add a Stampin'up! sentiment.

For my coffeeloving friends I made this New Year card

and hope that the New Year is filled with delicious coffee (cards).

The background is made with a spinner and alcohol inks.

I used thes wonderful Create with TLC digital images

that come for only  $2.33. I could not let less pass.

Metallics for Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

Hope you all have an amazing day.

Here are my cards for Club Scraps Bootcamp

with Valentine's and metallics.

This time I got out my spin&splash machine

with gold,silver and bronze alcohol inks

and made the fun background for these cards.

For these cards I used the following:

Papers Bold Blooms

Stamps: It's a hoot and Love Bites

punch: hearts

The coloring of the owls are done with pencils.

The smaller heart is from the SU! owl punch.

For this card I used the same materials,

except no pinch,but a heart template.

After coloring the heart I added a little

silver glitter glue.

Halloween kaart idee/ Halloween card idea

Deze kaart heb ik gemaakt voor een uitdaging bij Paper Punch Addiction: maak een herfst of Halloween kaart en it is het geworden.

This card I made for a challenge at Paper Punch Addiction: make a card for Fall or Halloween.

And this is it.

De voorkant van de kaart is gemaakt met het spinneweb embossingfolder van de Cuttlebug. Deze heb ik met versamark gesponst en met zilveren embossingpeder besprenkelt en verwarmd. Daarna de spin gemaakt met een ovalen pons, oogjes van de uit pons en de pootjes met de vogel pons (allen van SU!).

De tekst is van Prickley&Pear.

The front of the card is made with the spiderweb embossingfolder from the Cuttlebug. This one I spongued with versamark ink and sprinkled with silver embossing powder and heated. The spider is made with an oval punch, eyes from the owl punch and the legs from the bird punch (all SU!). The sentiment in from Prickley&Pears.

Binnen in de kaart heb ik een flap gemaakt, waarachter je iets kan verstoppen. Op de voorkant zie je Happy Halloween staan. Dit is een stempel van Great Impressions.

Inside the card I added a flap with Happy Halloween, to hide something.

The stamp is from Great Impressions.

Achter de flap zit een meisjesspin, die door middel van een lintje met de spin aan de voorkant verbonden is. Dit spinnetje zit niet vast geplakt.

Behind the cardflap there is this lady-spider. She is connected with a ribbon to the spider on the front of the card. This spider is not glued to the card.

Merry Christmas

Zeemeermin/ Mermaid

Hier nog een kaartje met een spin & splash achtergrond. Ze zijn echt overal leuk voor. Nu met de zeemeermin van Magnolia en de leuke mini-stempels van Michael Strong. Here another card with a spin & splash background. You can use them for everything. Here with a Magnolia mermaid and the wonderful new mini stamps by Michael Strong.

Spin & Splash

Ik heb veel vragen gekregen over de spin & splas, vandaar hier een lesje. Allereerst: wat is het? Het is eigenlijk een speelgoed ding voor kinderen. Je koopt het dan ook op de speelgoedafdeling van een winkel (en is niet al te duur).

I got many questions about what is a spin & splash, that is why I made this tutorial. First: what is it? It is a children's toy! You buy it in the toy department and it it not very expensive.
Het mooiste resultaat krijg je met alcohol inkt en glossy papier. Neem 2-3 kleuren inkt en maak het papier op maat van de machine (vierkant). Wil je wat kleiner papier, doe dat een stukje blue tack of dubbelzijdig plakband in het midden om het papier op vast te maken.

The best result is with alcohol ink and glossy paper. Take 2-3 colours an cut the paper in the right size (square). If you want a smaller size add some blue tack in the middle or some double sided tape.

Nu doe je de machine aan (ja hij gaat op batterij) en laat een paar druppels inkt op het papier vallen (gelukkig heb je een spatdeksel). Van elke kleur heb je maar een paar druppels nodig.

Now you put the machine on (yes, it operates on batteries) and let a few drops fall on the paper ( so glad to have this ring around the machine). From each color you only need a few drops.

Laat het even draaien. Zo ziet het er dan uit.

Let it spin for a few seconds. This is how it looks like.

Nu kun je de machine uitzetten en geniet van het resultaat!

Now you can stop the machine and enjoy the result!

In een korte tijd heb je een aantal prachtige achtergronden om kaarten mee te maken.

Ik weet zeker dat je kinderen graag mee zullen doen!

In a short time you will have a few beautiful backgrounds for making cards. I am also sure your kids will love to play along!

Swirl/spinner achtergrond/background

Als ik weer eens een kaartje met een swirl achtergrond laat zien, vraagt iedereen keer op keer hoe doe je dat. Daarom heb ik nu op mijn website er maar eens een uitleg over geschreven en dan kan je ook zien hoe dat apparaat er eigenlijk uitziet. Hier is een kaartje met viltstift achtergrond en papier en stempels zijn van Club Scrap, de bloemen zijn foto's bij mij uit de tuin en het vrouwtje is van een vintage knipvel. I have had so many questions about the spin and splash machine, or the swirl, or spinner, that I have made an instriction page on my website. Also you can see how my machine looks like to give you an idea. Here a card with the marker background, all papers and stamps are from Club Scrap, flowers are pictures from my backgarden and the picture of the lady is from a vintage cuttingpaper.

Elvis

Vandaag is het 30 jaar geleden dat Elvis is overleden. Veel te jong! Vandaag genieten we nog steeds van zijn fantastisch muziek en zijn geweldige stem. Daarom dit kaartje.
Papier is van Club Scrap Bistro, tekststempels van Stampin'Up! en achtergrond stempel is van Stampinback. De kleuren op de achtergrond zijn gedaan met alcohol inct in de spin & splash machine. Elvis zelf is een plaatje van internet ingekleurd met gelpennen. Today it is 30 years ago that Elvis died. Way to young!! Today we still listen and enjoy his music, his great voice. This card is a tribute to him.
The paper is Club Scrap Bistro, the text stamps are from Stampin'Up! and the background stars are by Stampinback. The background is done with alcohol ink and the spin & splash machine. Elvis himself is a picture from the internet coloured with gelpens.

Van alles wat vandaag/ All kinds today

Vandaag kaartjes gemaakt en gescrapt. Allereerst deze leuke lay out van de poes. Ik had een doos staan waarin een hoop Club Scrap spul was gekomen en daar moest de kat natuurlijk in!
En ik...ik moest natuurlijk foto's maken en scrappen!! Met papier van Club Scrap uit de Rhapsody kit. Ik heb vanalles er van gebruikt: stempels, stencil en fibres (precies de kleur van de poes. Today I made some cards and I scrapped. First I made this nice lay out of our cat. There was a box in the hallway from Club Scrap and ofcourse that cat had to go into the box and........ofcourse I had to make pictures and scrap! With Club Scrap paper. All papers, fibres (same colour as the cat), stamps, stencil are from the Rhapsody kit.

Daarna heb ik deze kaarten gemaakt. Daarvoor heb ik eerst met de spin & splash machine een leuk achtergrondje gemaakt op glossy papier en met alcohol inkt. Daarna met zwarte stazon de koffiestempels van Club Scrap erop en de tekst is met de computer gedaan. Lepeltje met zilver geembossed. De boontjes zijn er opgeplakt met glossy accent en ook eroverheen voor het vernis effect. Tot slot op de kaart eerst een aantal koffievlekken (stempel van Club Scrap) geembossed met koper en daarna nog gestempeld met bruin en espresso.

Than I made these cards. First I made the background with a spin & splash machine (this is a childrens'creative toy) and I used glossy paper and alcohol inks. Than i stamped the coffee mugs (from Club Scrap) with black stazon and the text I did with the computer. All papers are Mocca Java Remix from Club Scrap.
The background on the card is first stamped with the Club Scrap coffee stain and embossed with copper as well as the spoon. Than I stamped the stain with brown and espresso. The coffee beans are glued and varnished with glossy accent.
