Saturday Card: Paint It!

I noticed these pictures on internet
and they became the inspiration of the card for today:
This is what I used:
1. Michael Strong cloisonné pot stamp
2.Club Scrap UM stamps from 2006 Color in Black and White
3. Club Scrap paper 2014 Oopsie Daisy
4.3 different colors of embossing powder
5. versamark and pencils
I looked through my drawer and choose 3 colors of embossing
powder that would be good for a kind of terra cotta pot.

Here you see the card.
The splatters in the background is printed on the CS paper.
I cut out the pot and used foam tape to fasten it to the card.

Thank you for looking.

Have a creative day!

Club Scrap Book Stack

As a member of the Club Srap
Artist Team we have something new
to share with you. All of us received
the components for the Book Stack project
and make your own version of it.

You can see everyones bookstack on the

If you have seen my blog post last Wednesday
HERE,then you know I will have three
grandsons this year and I thought it would be a
greatidea to use these books for keeping
memories of the boys as babies.
As I still had enough CS Dungarees papers
(May 2014)
This is the result and you will find more pictures
on the Club Scrap Blog.

Here I will share some more details with you of
what I have inside the books.
Of course in one box there is more than in the two others.
I made a booklet for each box.

All these books are made out of one sheet of cardstock:
This is the template I used for the red book
and the one with the pocket is made out of a
9x9 inch sheet. For the blue book I cut
the sheet in half and clued a stripover part 3 and 4.

It became an accordion booklet and I added some of my
favourite Owen pictures and looked for some matching
sentiments in all of my UMstamps.

front side

backside.

For the red book closure,I used one of the
circle cut-a-parts. As you can see no pictures
yet, but I am sure in a couple of months
I have more than enough.

 front side
backside
and here is the 3rd booklet from the 9"x 9".
I scored at 3" and 6"and horizontal at 4,5"
The pocket and the tag are glued to the front
and the ribbon behind it to go around the booklet.

These red circles are for decoration
(and to cover up a mistake I made).

Created a pocket with a tag inside for some future journaling.

Because I printed one picture to many,
I created this card with it. Fun to use my
Club Scrap It's ahoot UM stamps.

Thank you for looking.
Will share more wen I have pictures
 of the babies in June/July.

Have a creative day!

Club Scrap Blog Hop: London is Calling

Welcome to another
Club Scrap Blog Hop.
This month the Kit is called London is Calling
Beautiful colors and a wonderful theme!
Hope you have seen  Marya's Blog with her beautiful
ideas en come to see what I have in strore for you.

If you loose your way you can always go to
Club Scrap's Blog and see all the participant.

I have been to England and London too,so i went tolook for
all those old pictures to scrap.......I just could not find where
i put them....you recognize this?! I found one and made this
fun popup card with a 12x12 inch piece of paper cut in half.
This is the outside. The phonebooth is embossed in red.
Inside of the card with the picture on the
pop-up part of the card.

Backside of the card.

So what else to do with this kit?
Looking at the colors it made me think
the colors would be crad for a baby boy book.

Now isn't this a coincidence:
I need one of those books soon,
 for my daughter is pregnant:
and swelling a lot for she is having twin boys!
The black image is cut out with my cricut
with the "New Arrival" cartidge and the sentiment
from the UM stamp is absolutely the greatest and
you can fill in any word(s) you want.

So for these two boys I have made a brag book.
Not two seperate ones, but one book for two.
Here is the finished book and it is ready to be filled
when they are born end June/ begin July.
These are the parts I started with:
back: 13"x 6,5"
spine: 1 1/4"x 6,5"
left and right parts: 6,5"x 6,6

"
Having made more books and watching the CS video
tutorials I remembered how to add different colors
of paper, especially when you do noth have the right
lenght of paper.

I used all the different colors inside and
out to cover the bookboard.

Here is the complete cover for the book without
the embellishments.

Making holes in the spine to add the inside pages.
Here the finished left side of the book:
I used the Fizz and Cape Cod stencil to create
more depth to the paper.
The picture frames are embossed with clear
embossing powder and added with foam tape
tothe background, so I can add pictures ot the
babies. The numbers are the cut aparts.

On the right side I used a sentiment from
(baby sentiment was a freebie this week
and adapted for twins).
The world stampand the other sentiment are
from Club Scraps Bookshelves kit.
I cut several 12x12 papers in half and folded them
to be the inside papers and used wax thread to
sew the papers in the book.
On the outside I added some blue beads
for decoration.

I can't wait to fill the book with pictures!
For this I have to wait a little more, but at least
this project is done. I will share with you
more of the inside, when the pictures are there.

Now for more inpiration on what to do with the
London Calling kit, please hop over to
and see what she has come up with.

Thank you for looking,

Sunday ScrapPage: Buzz Lightyear

Here I am with another scrapbook page.
Papers are Club Scrap Comics

My grandson is a big fan of Toy Story and he loves
Buzz Lightyear. Until now he had a mini version i still had from
a Mac Donald children menu from years back.
I did want the real big doll for him,but not available in the shops
anymore, so I posted an ad on Facebook.I did not get
many reactions, but after about a fourthnight someone told
me she had seen it somewhre and brought me in contact with this person.
And now Buzz is here and Owen loves it. He calls it his Big Buzz.

The printed sentiments I found on line, just google
the sentiment with images. If you  cannot find them, but want them,
just email me.
Here the original Toy Story from 1995
(OMG this is from 20 years ago!!).
On this page you also see the mini stars of Michael Strong.
I embossed them here with 3 colors embossing powder on each star.
The text is printed with the computer.
The other stars are all done in one of the 3 embossing powders
I used next to the journaling. The background stamp in white
is from Club Scrap's Sparkle kit 2007.

Thank you for looking!

Saturday Card: Flowers

Today I have some flowers for you!
mini flower and
large pot stamp
You find the stamps HERE.
The paper is from Club Scrap Oopsie Daisy.
I started out by stamping the potstampin dark brown
and colored the pot with pencils.

I stamped the pot on a post it note and cut this out to cover
the pot for the next stage. I sprinkled some yellow bistre
grains on top of the pot.

Then I sprayed some water on top of the grains.
With a paper towel I took away the  puddles
of water and dryed it with a heat gun.

With a matching color inkpad, I stamped the flowers on top of
the bistre coloring.I used Club Scrap Topaz inkpad.

To give the flowers more dimention, I also stamped some
flowers on an extra piece of paper, cut them out and
added these with foam tape on the card.

For the heart of the flowers I made little dark brown
dots with a pearl pen.

Here the result of the finished flowers.

Inside I used a lovely sentiment by Create with TLC.
On this blog you find many freebies: sentiments,
papers and vintage pictures.

This free sentiment is still available for a short time here:

Thanks very much for looking!

Have a creative day!
