Happy Birthday, Zora!

Happy Birthday to my youngest daughter Zora!
We had a wonderful celebration at her house yesterday.
Wishing you a wonderful year full of love, great work, happiness
and wonderful party's!

As my daughter has two very sweet cats, I dug out some
old Maryse Carier stamps, perfect for this occasion.
Stamped and embossed in black and colored with my zig markers.

Inside the card I made acute envelope to hide the money.
Made the envelope with the envelope punch board.

Have a great birthday, Zora!

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Club Scrap Big Top Blog Hop

This month Club Scrap has such a fun kit:
Big Top and see here the goodies:

and the color scheme:
I hope you found your way here from
and complimented her on her wonderful work.

Here I am sharing my ideas with you.
I have come up with 3 projects.

The first is inspired by this sewing box that I recently
got from a friend. An look what is inside:
I notices all these spools with sewing thread.
These can be used for great projects and suddenly
I had an idea.

I started with painting the spools.
Cut strips of the paper and used bookbinding glue
to glue them around the spools.

There was also this washi tape with the kit (the right one)
and I added the left one from my stash and used
it also to decorated some of the spools.
Then with metal wire and yellow wooden beads Imade the
spoolsinto a wreath.
And this is the result.
A wreath with a circus tent in the middle
and a big bow of ribbon from the kit  on top.

Here some detailed pictures. You see also the stamp
I used and on the tent Iglued some half circles with the
sticky pearls in between to give it the circus tent look.

So I thought this is it, I hav my project for the blog hop.
Well I came up with something else. I have these pocket
sleeves for scrapbooking and in a jiffy I had this page ready.

Yes,my daughters family is a great inspiration for scrapbooking!

Then I was looking around in the forum an noticed the toolof the month
is the envelope punch board. Ilove it and not only to make enveloppes.
You can make bow with it and boxes. There are many great ideas on you tube
and I found this treat bag. Yes,this kit is also perfect for Halloween.
Aren't these cute?
You find the instruction video here:

Here a close up. The lables are printed with the
computer. The purple circles are from an old kit called
Dreamin Color and had thes as cut outs.

Now for this orange treat bag I used a spiderweb stencil
to make it more Halloween. These treatbags are cute and
quick to make.

Well, these were my ideas, but there are many more.
The next blog is that of
and I love to see what she has come up with.

If you hapen to loose your way,you can always
go back to the  Club Scrap Blog.

Thanks for looking and leaving your comments.
Have a creative day!

Post-It Note Holder

Today I have for you a little gift idea.
I made this post-it note holder inspired
on a video tutorial I found, while looking for ideas
on what you can do with the envelop punch board.

The video that I found is HERE, but then
I could not find these tiny blocks of post-it notes.
So I took a normal block and made my own version.
If you find these tiny ones, you can use the video,
if you rather use a bigger one this is what I used:
* a post-it block 5 x 3 inch
* Michael Strong flower stamp and die
* elastic band
*button and wax thread
* designer paper and plain paper both 5,5 x 7,5 inch

The contruction of the holder
is the same as on the video tutorial.
I folded the paper at 3,5 inch and 4 inch
and also cut of the 1/4 inch strip.

I enlarged the tabs by 1/2 an inch to be able
to stamp the "for you" sentiment.

To open the older you take op the elastic.
If you want you can also fasten this to the
holder. I stappled the elastic together.

The button helped to sew on the flower with one stictch
on the elastic band.
One flower is stamped, embossed and colored.
The second flower is just cut out of dark
green paper with the metalic flower die.

Here is just another idea on how to use your
envelop punch board. Thanks for dropping by.

Creative greetings,

Spool Card

This week iI am having so much fun
with my envelop punch board.
Today I made aproject with Club Scrap
papers and stamps, but I also have some
Stampin'Up! projects over at my other blog HERE.

I share with you how I made this card:
You need:
1 piece of paper 4"x 11 (fold in half) from CS Dungerees
envelop punch board
Put the card (double) underneath the punch
and use the 3/8 mark and punch.

Flip the card and punch again at the 3/8 mark.
Do this also at the bottom of the card.
Take a ruler and craft knife to cut the  middle
part offon both sides of the card.
The card now looks like this:
You can start decorating however you like.

I covered the spool card with post it paper on top
and bottom before covering the card
with one of the Club Scrap  latest
stencils.I used blue ink and a blending tool to
color inside the stencil.

When finished coloring, I took my CS Ivory Elegance
stamp and stamped, with the same blue ink,
on top of the stencil.

When taken away the post it papers
the card looks like this. Just like there
are ribbons around the card.
As I have told you in my previous post,
I amtrying to sell of some of my stamps,
but this set of CS 2004 Textiles & Notions
is definitely one that stays!
You can findmy stampson sale HERE.
And this is the finished card with some
extra embellishments from the CS Dungerees kit.

Hope you like the extra idea for using
your evelop punch board.

Thanks for looking and
have a creative day!
