I used the free image by
You can still get it here

I colored the card with distress markers. Adding the color to my craftsheet
and with a brush and some drops of water coloring the  image.

I also used a posteroid die from Tim Holtz.
I made the sleeve from kraft paper and stamped the sentiment
from Concord & gth stamp set called "Let's chat".
For the second cup i used my crimper to give the sleeve a corrugated look.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 7: coffee bears

Welcome to day 7 of the

Today I have a little altered notebook for you.
Do you also like those cute mini books? I always have
one in my bag for when I have ideas. So when i noticed
this cute book in my dollar store, I knew exactly what
I was going to do. Alter it!

Last blog hop I found these cute bears on etsy HERE.
They are only $ 1,39 and very printer friendly!

I decorated the front and the back. Starting with a strip
of scrapbook paper with coffee rings. It is folded over
towards the inside. The strip is fastened with tape to the book.

The bears are printed on white paper and cut out
with scissors. I left a tiny white border.

Inside the book on the front side a made a little pocket.
I did it the same way as the pockets of the teabagholder from yesterday, so for
instructions go HERE

The pocket fits an instant coffee bag,
but also a tea bag. Hany if you are on the go.

The bears on the front have an extra layer. The heads and the
cups are cut out of a 2nd image and added with foam tape.
The cups are layered with glossy accent, The big sentiment
was printed on the book when I bought it, but the sentiment
in between the bears is from a clear set

Club Scrap & Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: Garden Shed

Welcome to another
Club Scrap Blog Hop.
Today we present to you projects made with
the September Garden Shed kit.

I hope you came over here from
Jennifer's Blog
and seen her beautiful project.

My project for a teabagholder was inspired by this
painting. It has the colors of the kit, the tea and the apples.

Why the apples?  Well, coming Sunday it is Jewish New Year
(Rosh Hashanah) and one of the symbols on the table is an apple.
We eat a sweet apple with honey and wish each other a very
happy and sweet New Year.

Inside this teabagholder you find pockets for teabags and of
course I added bags of apple tea.

This teabagholder is easy to make. You need a piece of
cardstof of 7 x 8,5 inch and score it at 4 and 4,5 inch.

For the pockets you need 3 pieces of 4 x 6 1/4 inch of cardstock,
the same as the main paper of the holder. All 3 opieces are scored at
3,5 inch horizontal and 0,5 inch on both vertical sides. At the
3,5 line you snip these V-shapes for easy folding.
I used a corner rounder on the longer side and a circle punch
on the shorter side as it makes it easier to add and get the teabag.

Before adding any decoration add a ribbon to the outside of the
holder at 3,5 inch horizontally (middle of the holder).

Now we go to the the decorations.
You can make these as eleborate as you want.
The paper for the front of the book is a part  one of the decorated
12x12 inch of scrappapers from the kit. I added more color to the apples
with color pencil. The apple is a woodsie, that I firstly colored
white with gesso. Next I used a honecomb template, one of the
words from the stencil that was with the kit. The bee is printed from the
digital Garden Shed kit. The Jewish sentiment is Shana Tova, meaning
a "Good Year".

The background paper here is a print with apples from
the digital kit . The picture is a fun picture I took
for this project. The beehive is one of the rubber stamps
and symbolizes of course the honey thatis eaten.
The woodsie with Happy New Year is part of the Happy Birthday
stamp and a handwritten New Year.

On the right side you find the 3 pockets which
are decorated with the same paper as on the left side from the
digital kit. The sentiment here is from an older Club Scrap kit
called Infusion, which is all about tea. The cups are die cut
For decoration I used the little bee stamp from the
rubber stamps with the Garden Shed kit.

This is the back of the holder...empty. A place to write
some good wishes for the receiver.

And now for the next blog you go to

Coffee Lovers Blog hop day 5: Brentwood

Good morning y'all!
Enjoying your morning cuppa while hopping along
to see what's new? Well here is my latest card
with the fun image Jessicalynnoriginals provided
for this hop: Halloween Brentwood.

During the hop you can still find him as a freebie here.

I found some fun halloween scrap paper in my stasch with this
little owl printed on it and I thought he paired great with
owl Brentwood. He only missed a cup, so that I die cut and added.

The image of Brentwood I colored digital and printed out.
Cutting the image and taped to the card with foam time for some dimention.
The sentiment on the card is by My Favorite Things (Stay Cool set).
I die cut the cups (Verve Stamps) and used a clear alphabet to
add the letters PSL.

To give the pumpkin a little more dimention I added crackle
glossy accent on top. Gives the pumpkin mor life.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 4: coffee cup holder

Welcome to another day of the
Today i have this cut cup holder for you.
It uses those cute little mini cups.

I made this one for the Jewish New Year
(which is October 3 and 4)
and inside there is some candy.
For the Jewish New Year we eat
sweet apples with honey to wish each other
a very happy and very sweet new year.
So you see the honeycomb and the bees
as decoration for my cup.

The papers and the bee stamps are by
Club Scrap and is this month kit called Garden Shed.

So you need a strip of cardstock (a bit sturdy is better)
of 2,5 x 11 inch and a piece of 2,5 x 4,5 inch.

The long strip is for the cupholder and the smaller strip you
ad to the back if you want to make an envelope to add
a card inside with a wish or a giftcard.

The long strip is scored at 4,5 - 7 .  7 3/4 - and 10 1/4.
You also have to use a die to cut the hole for the cup.
Fold everything and tape  A to B and the cupholder is ready.

Decoration is up to your taste.
I added a Jewish sentiment for Happy New Year
and at the bottom I used the stencil from the Club Scrap kit
with the wish for peace and joy.

The cup is decorated with little bee's colored with yellow
and a little bling on the wings.
The wooden stick also came from the kit and i stamped the word
celebrate on it. This is from a Stampin'Up! set.

After i finished this, i suddenly had more ideas for making them.
I had a workshop the next day and used these cupholders for
a bit of candy for the students and also for giving them
my business card. As I did not want to hide this, I did not
make the envelop, but a strip around the back where I could
enter my card.

I punched a hole at the top and added a ribbon.
Oh  to be honest, I used 12 by 2,5 inch strips for this,
using scrap paper of 12 x12 so I could make 4.

Thank you very much for looking
and I hope you come back again tomorrow.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop day 3: scrapbooking

Of course my scrapbooking is about coffee today
and I used the freebie from Create with TLC,
who is a sponsor of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

If you want to use this freebie to go HERE.

For the scrap page i used papers from Club Scrap, but
the stamp image of the teapot and the cups are by Michael Strong.
I stamped the teapot and embossed it in gold.
For decoration I made some more nespresso
flowers. You can see how I did that here.

The mini cups arte also by Michael Strong and with a little sticky pearl
as decoration. The freebie from Create with TLC is printed on craft
paper and the leaves around it area stamp from
 Stampin'Up! Foxy Friends stamp set.

The word on this picture is a woodsie that I colored black.
I got it at Create a Smile.

With the freebie I also made these cards.
I shared them already on Flickr, but add them
here again so i have all the ideas together.

Card #1 has a kraftpaper background that
is embossed with coffee beans.
The stamped leaves around the image are
from Stampin'Up! Foxy Friends stamp set
and the tiny beans are from Newton's Nook
Loves Coffee stamp set.

I finished the card with a green organza ribbon and
a tiny coffee pot charm.

For card #2 I used several coordinating
scrap papers. The leaves are cut with a die and
I made another nespresso flower. The acorn is a stamp by
Tim Holtz from a harvest stampset CMS116.

If you too want to be part of the blog hop
and try to win one of the prizes go here for all
