Coffee Lovers Blog hop day 5: Brentwood

Good morning y'all!
Enjoying your morning cuppa while hopping along
to see what's new? Well here is my latest card
with the fun image Jessicalynnoriginals provided
for this hop: Halloween Brentwood.

During the hop you can still find him as a freebie here.

I found some fun halloween scrap paper in my stasch with this
little owl printed on it and I thought he paired great with
owl Brentwood. He only missed a cup, so that I die cut and added.

The image of Brentwood I colored digital and printed out.
Cutting the image and taped to the card with foam time for some dimention.
The sentiment on the card is by My Favorite Things (Stay Cool set).
I die cut the cups (Verve Stamps) and used a clear alphabet to
add the letters PSL.

To give the pumpkin a little more dimention I added crackle
glossy accent on top. Gives the pumpkin mor life.

Want to know what this hop is all about and
maybe participate to win some prizes? Go here:

Enjoy your coffee/tea.

Sunday Scrap Page: Hot Chocolate

Happy Sunday!
Here is a page with a picture that is taken today, when
my DH and I where out and about doing a little fun shopping.
Of course we had to stop for coffee, but this time we had
hot chocolate with a muffin. It was delicious and then I had an idea
for this page. The sentiment I noticed on the hop last week
and thought it was great to use here. I typed it on the computer
with a font that is called DK Mandolin. (free font)
The papers used here are from different Club Scrap kits.

To make the hot chocolate i used dies from My Favourite Thing (here),
the steam of the coffee stamps by Michael Strong as wellas
the heart by Michael Strong.both are embossed with  copper
embossing powder.

We were at a restaurant called Bagels and Beans.
We received a glass of hot milkand chocolate separately.
We had to mix the milk and the chocolate. never done
that before, but it was delicious!!

Cup and gift wrap

I did a little shopping yesterday and found this great
winter coffee mug and also got some mints to go with it
as a gift. I had to make something quick for the blog hop
of the Coffee Lovers is nearly over.
Only one more day!

The mints are wrapped up here and decorated with a Tim Holtz
coffee stamp on the outside

and a little wish hanging from the bakers twine
that is from the Lawn Fawn clear stamp set.

See the box is first tightly wraped in the blue paper
and taped to the booklike cover. I do not write
measurements here for there are so many different
sizes of mint boxes. It is quite easy to see how to make
this fitting your own box.
The sentiments inside are from My Favourite Things
"Stay Cool" clear stamp  set.

Thank you for looking and hope
to see you again tomorrow.

Happy Saturday!

Here another card with the Die-namic dies Hot Cocoa Cups
from My Favourte things. This time in combination with the

The dies come with two cups: left and right. Very handy for cutting.
In one go you have them both. The little menorah and dreidel are
from an old Stampin'Up! set. Embossed in gold and cut out with
a circle pund. Cup and circle are both colored on the outside
with a blending tool and brown ink. The steam from the coffee
cups are stamped with the smallest size paisley from the set

The background is done with the paisley panel embossed in white
on the blue background.
The sentiment is by Create with TLC and comes as a digital
download, soit is printed with the computer. You find
the set here.

Thank you for looking.

Hanukkah 4

Happy Friday!

Here I am with another Hanukkah card in combination
with my coffee addiction.
Some time ago I found a new die on the internet,
that I just needed to have!
It was the Hot Cocoa Cups by My Favourite Things.
I noticed THIS on their blog. Of course I ordered right away!

Now that the die has arrived, I went to play with it
and this is the first card with it.
I started out with making the background. A clear david star
with gold ink to make a fitting background paper for my card.
Here you see the top panel with the cup. The panel is
cut out with  a shaped die and embossed with a star embossing folder.
On the cup a center piece with a gold embossed candle holder
(Hanukkiah/Menorah), a little stamp by Stampin'Up!

The sentiment is by Create with TLC
Printed with the computer and decorated with a few sticky pearls.

Of course I did not forget the inside of the card.

Thank you for looking!

Have a creative day!
