Fall Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

This morning I woke up finding an awesome

digital printable by my friend Paulette Slater.

I am so lucky for she made me some delicious

I used a die and shiny white paper for the background.

The sentiment is what was in my messenger this morning

and the snowmen where in last years Winter Club.

Cards for Jewish New Year

Dear Crafty Friends!

As always around this time of the year, 

I start with my cards for the Jewish New Year: Rosh Hashanah.

It is always on a different date for the Jewish calendar

is a moon calendar and this year the New Year starts

the evening of Friday 15th of September and 

is celebrated on the 16th and 17th too.

This year I use a freebie from my friend Paulette.

She has this fantastic site on Facebook for

Junk Journaling with lots of freebies,

that I use for making cards. You find her site HERE.

These are digital images, that you can print

in whatever size you like.

All over the world, Jewish people will celebrate

Rosh Hashanah, the start of a new year on the Jewish

Calendar, with wishes all around for a 

"happy and sweet new year"- signified by dipping

apples into honey, and greeting one another with

"Shanah Tovah", the Hebrew words for the greeting

meaning "A Good Year"!

So here are a few cards I made:

For the Background I used printed paper from 

Paulette's Ko-fi shop called Autumn Hues.

The sentiment is from Stampin'Up! from a set

called "Slices of Happiness".

Shapes are cut with scissors and glued to some gold paper

and also cut by hand with a little border all around.

For this card I used the same printed background, but 

added apples with a stencil (Funky Fossil).

The sentiment is printed with the computer.

Here you see the background panels adapted with 

the apples through the stencil.

The stencil is also perfect for decorating a matching envelop.

I added Nuvo white blizzard glitter drops on 

the honey jars. Made this close up picture, so you

can see how wonderful it makes the honey jar look.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 6

Welcome crafty coffee loving friends,

Day 6 on the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

So many wonderful projects to see, I can't believe it!

So my friend Carla, who is also participating in this hop.

had a wonderful teabag card and shared with me how to 

make one. I just could not resisit to try and here is the result.

For my card I used the freebie from Polka Dot Orchard

called My Love Mug.

Carla send me a Dutch tutorial, but as most of you do not speak 

our language, I found another tutorial in English HERE.

For the inside I used some snippets of paper that 

where left from the front of the card.

I really do like this kind of card. 

Maybe next time I make a bigger size,

for the final size of this one is 11,5 cm x 8,5 cm.

(approx. 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 inch).

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 4

Welcome back coffee loving crafty friends!

Day 4 of the Coffee Lovers Blog

Today I downloaded the freebie by

  JessicaLynnIriginal.

It is a digital stamps and that means you can

print it any size you need it to be.

For this first card I printed it cardsize

and colored the image with coloring pencils.

I made the card into an easel card.

It looks like this sideways.

The sentiment on the card is a stamp from the

Time for Tea set by Funky Fossil Designs.

For the 2nd card I printed these smaller size

images. My idea is that my twin grandsons

would color this for their mom, but I do not see

them much due to covid. Hopefully it will

Hapen before Mothe's day!

Inside the card I added the leftover strip from the

design paper.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 3

Hello Coffee Crafty Friends,

Another fun day and new artwork for the

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

Today i share with you two cards with my favorite sentiment.

It is by Create with TLC, but I have it on my blog

 as a freebie HERE (scroll down to the end!).

So I printed the sentiment twice (large and a liitle smaller).

For the first card I used the largest print.

I cut the print to the size of my card and with the

coffee ring stamp by Club Scrap and my own

handcarved bean stamp I decorated

 the background using distress oxide inks.

On e seperate piece of paper I stamped these cups

(handcarved by me) and cut them out.

One is on the front and the other 3 inside

for i need lots of coffee today to come up 

with some more cards for the rest of the week!

I love how I can make  my own design on the back.

Card 2 is with the smaller printed sentiment.

I started with using the Funky Fossil Designs

Coffee Bean Background stencil and distress

oxide ink.

On the border side I used more pressure 

with the ink. Around the sentiment only a littlte.

The little sloth critter is a stamp by

Clearly Bestotted Stamps (one of my

winnings from the last hop).

Carehome Cards

Hello Crafty Friends,

The past two weeks I have been making cards for the 

carehome where my mother is staying. They sell the cards

and the money is used for activities in the home. They also sell

2nd hand clothing, 2nd hand things for in the house etc.

For the cards they want cards with no text, so they can use

it for all kinds of occasions.

For my cards I use:

unfinished backgrounds,

stencils,

stamps and distress inks,

punched out figures,

paper flowers,

die cut flowers,

printed image from Create with TLC

pencils for coloring

and more.

So I take one unfinished background.

matching daffodil image and stencil and stamp.

Here you see what I did with the background.

And here is the finished card and a matching envelop.

The butterfly is an old stamp by Stampin Up!

The pictures are all greebies by Create with TLC.

Here the background is made with a few  pieces

of scrap paper that I found on my table and some washi tape.

Matched paper flowers with those on the picture.

Bugaboo Friday Freebie - Girlz Car Ride

Hello Crafty Friends!

Sorry I have been away lately,

but I had other things on my mind and not

much energy to write my blog. Posting on

Instagram and Facebook is so much easier.

But here I am using the Friday Freebie

that you find on the

  Catch the Bug Challenge Blog.

I made an easel card with this cute lady in her car.

The image is called Girlz Car Ride.

You find the freebie HERE, the day after this post.

(You can still grab last weeks freebie).

I found this perfect bckground paper

and the road is a piece of tape stuck on a piece

of scrap paper glued to the inside of the card with

foam tape, so the frond can lean against it.

I cut out one suitcase ad added it to the boot of 

the car and lifted the sentiment from the background paper.
