Critters in Cups 2

Hello my crafty friends.

This Critter in Cups set by
is keeping me busy! I get new ideas all the time,
so here is my 3rd card with this set.

This time it is a tea card.
This set can be used to make tea or coffee cards.
I has 3 animals: a dog, a cat and  a bunny.
Today it is the bunny's turn for a card.

I started by stamping a border of teabags
on the background of the card.
Coloring them with brown and red watercolor ink.

Next I cut the papers and the cup (with the dies)
After coloring the bunny and cutting him out,
I assembled all the pieces and glued everything together.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative
caffinated day!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Day 1

Welcome to another Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
You find all the details HERE.

I must tell you I have some big troubles with my computer.
My files are encrypted and cannot reach all my pictures to
make art. You may find more on instagram (@4hetty) this
time, because that is easier from my mobile phone.

Today I have been playing with pictures from the old ladies
club at my mother's  home for the elderly.
When all the 3d pictures of Christmas came from the storage,
I found some lovely ones that I could use for the
Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. How about this cute owl?!
Here you see a lovely tea cup for Christmas in 3d cutting
on the front of this card.
When you open it, it has a special way to make it stand.

This is how the card looks sideways.

And this is the inside of the card with a sentiment of
a much loved VerveStamp.

Thank you so much for looking
and have fun with the coffee hop.
Cheers!

Today I  share a card I made with my new
and the set Time for Tea.

This is my card! Totally cute.
I even displayed it in my new craft room.

I made it easy on myself. I stamped the pigs on pink paper
and colored the wings, ears and snout with a white gelpen
and a white pencil before cutting out the image.

The background is made with these two Funky Fossil

The cup and the pot are colored with zig markers.
The coffee or tea (it can be either) are drawn by hand.

A look on the bakground and the sentiment.
For the background I used Bundled Sage and S
peckled Egg distress oxide ink.

Thank you so much for all the wonderfu;
comments and compliments this week.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: Day 6

Hello Coffee Lovers.

Amother delicious day on the
Today I serve you some tea.

As you know there are many Sponsors to the
coffee hop and by commenting you can win prizes.
One of the sponsors is Janesdoodles and I am using her
but I noticed there is also a digital set.

I made these cute gift bags and I show you how to make them.
You need a 6 x 6 inch piece of design paper and best isone
that is decorated on both sides as you can see.
1. You start by folding the 6 x 6 inch of design paper in
half, triangle way. Paper is by Stampin´Up!.

2. Fold onlu the front paper towards the fold line
with tip of the paper.

3. Lift that just folded piece up again and take the right dide
of the triangle and fold it towards the  horizontal folded line
in the middle of the triangle.

4. Do the same with the left side of the triangle.
Fold it towards the horizontal line.

5. Fold the top flap back down over the other
folded flaps. This keeps the pocket in place and
you do not need any adhesive.

It really started with this gift pouch. It is made with decoration
I liked so much, and wanted to use in some project.
So I cut out all the decoration of the box for my
gift pouch. The sentiment is a stamp from the Janedoodles
stamp set.

Here you see more of the stamps as decoration of the
gift puch. The images are colored with zig markers.

Decorations here are made with a few punches I have for
leaves and flowers. The heart of the flower is a sticky pearl.

Stacking 2 cups for  there are two tea bags inside each pouch.

stay safe, enjoy your coffee
and keep crafting!

Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop - Day 4 more!

Hello Tea-lovers,
here for you some tea ideas as part of the

Of course it is not only coffee, but also tea, cocoa.
For all details and prizes to win take a look at the blog.
This time I made the gift pockets with a tea theme.
These pockets are great for two or three tea bags.

I found the instructions HERE

All materials are Stampin'Up! Sorry but not available
in the current catalogue. The stamp and die set is called
A Nice Cuppa. Maybe online you can find this set.

The decorations for all these gift pockets are so easy
to do. Here I used the teapot die and design paper.
A teabag and a sentiment and decoration is finished.

Here I used the cup die and a dotted embossing folder.
The spoon is also with the set as a die, but not s a stamp.
The sentiment on a scalopped circle (whisch is a punchby SU!).

Here the 3rd one. This one was the easiest,
This is a stamp from the set and stamped with two
colors of green and cut out. Taped to the pocket and that's it.

Hope you like these ideas.
Thanks for looking,
stay safe, drink coffee or tea
and keep crafting!

Happy Mother´s Day!

These are strange times and visiting my Mother
in the care home for Mother´s Day is still a no go.
So my brother and i went on Friday to bring my Mom
a card and flowers. We had to stay behind the glass
and she was inside (hard for her to understand).

So here my card, for I do hope we soon can have a cup of
tea together and not behind glass!
I also made this card with some of the left overs from
papers I made with my gelli plate for the challenge on the
Club Scrap Chat on Facebook.

Here my cut out for the card.

I started making the background with the teabag stamp
from Club Scrap special kit Infusion (2014) and
white embossing powder for a resist technique.

Coloring the paper with walnut stain distress oxide ink.

Here the finished background pannel.
The white teabags came out beautiful.

So this is my sentiment of the day
in good hope that we soon can do this again.

Happy Mother's Day to all
mother's, grandmothers and great grandmothers!

Thanks for looking,
stay safe
and keep crafting!
