Cupcake Inspiration Blog: Color Challenge

Here is my card for this weeks
It is a color challenge: Pink, Yellow and Blue.
A lovely combination.

It has been some time I used Michael Strong's
hand stamp, but these days with a lot of washing
your hands I had to get that stamp out.

So I started with thre colors of oxide inkpad: fossilezed
amber, tattered rose and broken china.
Next I got the egg stamp out (also Michael Strong).
With walnut stain I stamped the eggs on the background
and on an extra piece of paper.
The extra eggs are embossed with clear embossing powder
and colored with fossilized amber and broken china ink.
The hand is embossed with pink embossing powder
and colored with tattered rose ink and then cut out.

The sentiment is made with the computer.
After everything is arranged on the card I added
a few sticky pearls.

And here are my other hand cards:

This one I made for the Simon Says Stamp
Spring challenge on instagram.
Spring is tulips, but this Spring we are
more busy wth washing our hads,
Do enjoy the flowers too!

This cards represents especially the washing of the
hands with all the blue ink in the background.

Stay Safe,
Stay Healthy
and wash your hands!

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Today is a worldwide day that asks for awarness for
EPILEPSY.

Please take a moment and read.
Purple Day is a global grassroots event formed with the intention to increase worldwide awareness of epilepsy, and to dispel common myths and fears of this neurological disorder.
Further intentions of this movement are to reduce the social stigmascommonly endured by many individuals afflicted with the condition; to provide assurance and advocacy to those living with epilepsy that they are not alone in their ongoing endurance; and to initiate individuals living with the condition to take action in their communities to achieve these aims.
The day occurs annually on March 26.

Box with cards: Daffodils

So it all started with cleaning my craftroom
and finding tucked away this wonderful
box of cards. I found it on my blog in May 2010,
but the links to the tutorial did not work anymore.

I searched my computer, but I did not find any document.
So here is a new template to make this box for
the cards 4x6 inch.
You need a piece of cardstock of 11 x 8,5 inch.
Follow the template for scoring and folding:

Here is a new box for my daffodil cards.
Today I made these cards with the Club Scrap
Daffodil stamps (March 2016) and the same technique
as I did yesterday.

First i stamped the daffodils and
embossed them in white.
Today I start with green and yellow ink for the card.

Add inkt to the craft sheet and spray water.

Get the ink on the paper and see the white embossed
parts resist the ink.

After watching Tim Holtz live video yesterday,
I had to get some stencils out!
Here is the finished card.

For the second card I also added some orange too.
And here is the other finished card.

There is room for 8 cards in the box, so
I guess you will see some more tomorrow.

Thank you for looking,
stay at home
stay safe
and keep crafting!

Spring is here!

Today I have been playing with my rubber stamps by Club Scrap.
The set is called In Bloom (April 2019).
Along the road here I see all the crocusses bloom
and the colors inspired me for the cards.
So here I show you how the cards were made:

Picking the same colors as on the picture,
purple, yellow and green. On the paper I embossed
the crocus stamp in white (hard to see now).

On my craft sheet I added the ink colors
and sprayed some water on it.

Here are two papersafter I added the
colors from the craft sheet. On the left
you see the paper where I added the white
embossed image. It works as a resist.
The right paper is just colored,
ready for stamping.

Here the crocus stamp I used
and black ink for stamping.

The finished card with a sentiment
from the same In Bloom stamp set.

This is the card with the white embossed
crocusses in the background.

Thank you for looking
and have a crafty day!
Enough time now while staying home.
Stay safe and healthy.
