Purple Day: Epilepsy Awareness Blog Hop

Today is a worldwide day that asks for awarness for

Please take a moment and read.
Purple Day is a global grassroots event formed with the intention to increase worldwide awareness of epilepsy, and to dispel common myths and fears of this neurological disorder.
Further intentions of this movement are to reduce the social stigmascommonly endured by many individuals afflicted with the condition; to provide assurance and advocacy to those living with epilepsy that they are not alone in their ongoing endurance; and to initiate individuals living with the condition to take action in their communities to achieve these aims.
The day occurs annually on March 26.
You can read more about epilepsy here.

I have been asked to participate in this hop
and I hope you enjoy looking at all the purple artwork.

Card #1 has this cute dog image by Ikes Art.
one of the sponsors of this hop.

The dog is colored with pencil. Design paper,
ribbon, flowers and a heart die cut are used
to finish the card. The sentiment is typed up
and printed with the computer.

Card #2 is with a cute image by

This card is also for the Oldie but Goodie challenge

Card #3
I used this wondeful butterfly, that I colored
with my Stampin´Blends.
Some design paper, a ribbon, a lovely sentiment
and a few flowers finish the card.

Card #4
This cute girl is an image from
Digi Doodle Studio, one of the sponsors of this hop.
On this card you ee an embossed background,
a girl colored with Stampin´Blends
and a sentiment by Create with TLC.

Because Fikreta is so in love with her cats and started this blog
hop, I have a little give away for three commentors on my
blog. A little cat with a piece of purple ribbon together with
a card of your choice.

Card #5
Those who follow my blog, know about my love for coffee.
So here a purble coffee card with only digital images from
my stash. The sentiment is by Create with TLC
and with her permission I can have it as a freebie for you all.

Save the sentiment to your computer with a
right mouse click and add it to an album on your
own computer.

You have from
26-31 March to hop around!

A wonderful set of cards Hetty - My brother suffered with epilepsy from a teenager - and I have known others also afflicted with it. It's good to see that there is now more publicity and support for the condition
Stay safe

Good morning, Hetty, and Happy Purple Day to you! You made so many adorable cards! I love seeing all of the purple! That puppy has stolen my heart, and OMGoodness, I love your little cat ribbon holders! Please count me in - thank you for your generosity! So cuuuuuute! Thank you for the TLC sentiment - I can definitely use that! I learned a lot about epilepsy during this hop. The point I keep in mind is that during a convulsive seizure you should never hold the person down or put anything in their mouth. Please take care of yourself and stay safe and healthy!

I'm so glad to be a part of this hop, also, and to be reminded of some important things abt someone having a noting the time the seizure started. I prob would not remember to think of that!

Hope you are doing well during this virus thing. Ugh... Stay safe and healthy.

Wow, you made so many beautiful cards and that little pup is the cutest ever! Your cat ribbon holders are even more fun..and so clever. Winning one of these would be purr-fect, lol! Thanks for sharing your cards in the hop. I learned a lot about epilepsy, especially not to hold someone down or put anything in their mouth when they are having a seizure.

Your cards are all beautiful, and I'm loving all the purple! My favorite is the Sweetest girl, and those kitty ribbon tags are just adorable. Thank you for participating in the hop and helping spread the word. The fact that stands out for me is not to put anything in a person's mouth when they are having a seizure, contrary to popular belief.
