2025 Spring Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Dear Coffee Loving Friends,

I appologize for not blogging for a long time, but while there another Coffee Lovers Blog Hop going on it gives me reasons for starting the blogging again.

First you should go over to the
to see what is going on and what is there to win!!

Last night I had a zoom class by Michael Strong
and one of his cards inspired me to make this coffee card.
I used all Michael's stamps (except sentiment):
butterfly
mini coffee cup
cloisonne octagons
and a spoon die from my stash

Here are all the cards we made last night
and you can see the card that inspired me:
These zoom classes started during covid and are still going on.
Usually avery 3rd week of the month. You pay Michael and you
receive a package with materials for all the cards at home in
time for the class.
With the difficult posting to The Netherlands  get digital
instructions and make up my own cards as I have most of
the stamps. Feel free to send Michael an email if you want to

Thank you for looking and

have a great caffeinated Sunday!

Goodmorning Caffeinated Crafty Friends!

The challenge for the

and I created these two cards:

and I had a go at it. For both my cards I used my
Michael Strong large and small coffee stamp.

The sentiment is prented with the computer.

For my 2nd card I used a grid background and a square
punch. This is a fun technique I love to do.
You find this greed for free on Mike's blog HERE.

23 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - day 2

Welcome Caffinated Crafty Friends,

It is day 2 of the
Today I have played with the image of Brentwood by

Here is Brentwood Owl  and Highland Cow with their Santa hats.
I think they are having a great time together.
The sentiment I printed with the computer.
All is colored with ciao copic markers.

And here is another version. The image of Brentwood and
Highland cow was printed smaller. This is the advantage of
digital download images. You can print it in any size you
like for your card.

Thank you for looking.
Have a caffinated crafty day.
See you tomorrow.

The sentiment is a combination of stamps from
my stash.
The background are papers that are embossed.

Here you see the inside of the card. I love to use
my left over papers for decorating the inside.

A close up of the image: the hat/nose and the coffee cup
are added on with a piece of foam tape to make
the gnome more 3d.

International Tea Day

Hello my crafty friends,

Today it is international TEA DAY and
even though I am a big coffee lover, I also love a cup of tea.
Usually I have one in the afternoon.
My favorite flavor is fresh mint tea.
Below you find my card. I am not sure how to call
this kind of card. I would say: accordeon card,
because of the folds on the sides.
It fits in a normal envelop, but it is a little bulky!

For my card I used different cups designed by Michael Strong,
as well as the teapot. You find all of the stamps HERE.

All stamps are embossed with gold embossing powder.
The sentiment is an old one by Club Scrap (not available anymore).

Sideways

from above.

Directions:

For this card you need a piece of  4,25"x 6,25"
(here the gold) and a piece of 4"x 6"(here the darkest blue).
Then you cut the pieces like below and score and fold them.

On top of the darkest blue 4x6 inch card you add the folded strips,
starting with the largest one of 4 inch, next
3 inch and last 2 inch.
Now you add the cups or any other idea you have.

The 4,25"x 6,25" is the last piece of cardstock
you ad for decoration to the back of the card and is
on all sides a bit larger, except for the bottom, where
it alligns with the bottom.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Simon Says: Anything Goes

For the challange Anything Goes on the
I made this birthday card.
For this card i used:
Floral Trims CMS461
Papillon CMS106
Bold Sayings CMS433
Distress oxide ink
Distress oxide spray Crackeling Campfire

I started stamping with versamark watermark
and gold embossingpowder.

Next I added some distress oxide inks on the glassplate
and by wiping the ink off the plate and on the card.
This is reapeated a few times until satisfied with the color.

When all was dry I added some Crackling Campfire splatters
on the card.

I used the sewing machine to make the border on the card.
Also some gold thread underneath the birthday sentiment.
The sentiment is also with gold embossing powder
and added the same colors as the background.
Matching envelop for sending out the card.

Thank you for looking and
have a caffinated creative weekend!

Simon Says: Make your Mark

A new challenge on the
Make your Mark.

Now I received my new Tim Holtz stamps
last week and I just have to play with them,
seeing what I can do.
So here is the result:
For this challenge I used the new
Floral Trims CMS461 cling stamp
Note Quotes CMS 463
and the layering stemcil Brush Hex
different colors of distress oxide ink.

I started with stamping this Floral stamp in versamark
watermark and embossed with gold.
Next I put some colors of distress oxide ink on my
glass plate and wiped it on the card. When dried I
added images with the Brush Hex stencil.

Next I stamped the sentiment on a piece of cardboard
from the box the stamps came in. I also used it on the
background of the card. Stapled the image to the piece
from the box. Gives it a grungy feeling.

Thank you for looking and i hope you have
a great caffinated creative weekend!

Simon Says: Things with Wings

Another fun challenge on the
Things with Wings.

Here my finished card with butterflies by Tim Holtz.

Here I displayed all the materials I used:
distress oxide  inks
stencils
cling stamp: Papillon CMS106

I started with a background I had lying around made in direct
to paper technique. I used my stamping platform, because
I wanted to stamp several colors

Here you see the first layer of butterflies.
I also stamped them on a seperate piece to cut out
and add later on with foam tape.

I added the big script stamp and next used two
different stencils to finish off the card.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative caffinated day!
