Sunday Scrap Page: Fireworks

I start the new year with a pocket page.
The papers are all Club Scrap and the
star stamp and circle are by Michael Strong.
The clockand the tickets are by Tim Holtz.

The pictures I share today where made just at
midnight when the New Year 2016 arrived.
We were at my DD's house and set of some fireworks
there. It is a custom in The Netherlands to have
fireworks at midnight. Everyone can do this.
Fireworks are only sold on the last day of the year and
you can only light them at midnight.

The stars are gold embossed on gold paper, decorated with
a tiny blue gem stone. The sentiment is cut with a die.

Thanks for looking.

May the New Year sparkle your creativety!

A Happy layout and lovely memories.

UK fireworks are sold all year, they can be sold by a licence holder only. However they are restricted to being let off before 11pm except for certain holidays throughout the year, including New Year.
