Oscar Night7

 Today is the last day in my serie of Oscar Night cards.

Today is the Oscar Award show in Hollywood and

 tomorrow we will know all the winners.

Because I had a wonderful set of digital stamps

by Create with TLC

I was inspired to make all these cards.

 The picture of the lady I found HERE and is colored with pencil.

The stars are by Michael Strong.

The stars are stamped with versamark on gold paper

and embossed with gold embossing powder.

 And this is the back of the card and

also the end of this years Oscar cards.

I wish you all a wonderful time watching the Oscars.

Oscar Night 6

 

Ok, not everyone will be watching the Oscar Award show on television.

So you have to watch your own movie and I have made 

a fun package out of this.

I found this on the internet, so it is not my own

invention.

 I made this for the "Hooray for Hollywood" challenge 

at the Michael Strong stampgroup

and of course I have used

 Michael Strong's cloisonné mini star.

But backgroundpaper and sentiments are by Create with TLC

and go to Paulettes blog and have the background paper free

in all kinds of colors.

 

Inside the dvd case I have the Blues Brothers.

One of my old time favourite mouvies, because the

music makes me so happy!

Oscar night4

 Today I have a more steampunky Oscar night card.

Background is first done with a steampunk stencil and sprayed

with glimmer mist and after that I rolled it trough

the cuttlebug with a steampunk background

and added some more distress ink.

The filmstrip is made with a punch for the border.

The men are stamped with frayed burlap distress ink and

punched out with  square punch and glued to the filmstrip.

 

The star is a stamp by Michael Strong,

the men um stamps are by Tim Holtz

The camera ad sentiment by Create with TLC

and the bingo card I found on the internet.

The metal embellishments are idea-ology elements

by Tim Holtz.

Oscar Night3

I made this card with a fun technique from the

Technique Junkies Newsletter Aug/Sept 2009

called Punched Window.

It is a pitty that gold and silver are not such good colors 

to either scan or photograph,

but I hope you can imagine these colors on the right spot.

 

I have used the cloisonné mini star by Michael Strong

embossed in silver or gold and the images and sentiment are

 by Create with TLC.
