Happy Father´s Day!

Hello Crafty Friends,

Last Friday I had my club of card makers
at the care home.
We made some Father´s Day cards.

For the cards I used some dies and stamps from
Stampin´Up! and from my stash.
Also some beer glasses I printed, for these
ladies are not very good in coloring.

On this card you also see a Dutch sentiment
saying `enjoy this`.
The SU! set i used is called Mixed Drinks.
The bubble die is from my stash.

On these card I used some printed beer mugs and sentiment.
I make pre-cut and assample all the right materials
for the card in a bag, The ladies only have to assemble the
cards. Cutting and glueing is something they can do.
They love this way of card making I introduced to them.

And this is the card I made for my husband.
I treat him to a nice dinner in a restaurant this evening.

I wish all dads and granddads a very

Happy Mother´s Day!

These are strange times and visiting my Mother
in the care home for Mother´s Day is still a no go.
So my brother and i went on Friday to bring my Mom
a card and flowers. We had to stay behind the glass
and she was inside (hard for her to understand).

So here my card, for I do hope we soon can have a cup of
tea together and not behind glass!
I also made this card with some of the left overs from
papers I made with my gelli plate for the challenge on the
Club Scrap Chat on Facebook.

Here my cut out for the card.

I started making the background with the teabag stamp
from Club Scrap special kit Infusion (2014) and
white embossing powder for a resist technique.

Coloring the paper with walnut stain distress oxide ink.

Here the finished background pannel.
The white teabags came out beautiful.

So this is my sentiment of the day
in good hope that we soon can do this again.

Happy Mother's Day to all
mother's, grandmothers and great grandmothers!

Tuesday Morning Sketch #553

Good Morning Stamping Friends,
I have been asked as a Design Member of the
So today I share with you the first sketch.

For my card I used some design paper,
the new release image by Bugaboo from last week
and a sentiment by Create with TLC.
The circles in the backgroud are die cutted with
some circle dies from my stash.

I also used the cute Boo Teddy Bear image
for the inside of the card. It is colored with
stampin'blends by Stampin'Up!

For the HEROES part 2

Here are 3 more cards with the FREEBIE by
Jillian Vance on her blog HERE.

On all cards you see a Dutch sentiment for
Thank You (Bedankt).

This first card is a large card, so everyone can write inside.
It is a folded A4 size piece of white cardstock.

This time I started with making the background with stencils
and distress oxide ink. I used the heart and the dots stencil.

Next I used some red and blue scrap paper, embossed it with an
embossing folder and added this with double sided tape to the
background. Coloring the shirt with mermaid lagoon distress
oxide ink and a red stampin'blend marker.

For this card. I had the idea of making a medal.
So I cut out the cirkel and this cirkel already had the dots
around the border, which makes it so easy for crochet,
The letters are cut out with tiny letter dies.

I came across this piece of design paper on my
table and made a totally different card, without to many hearts.
The ribbon comes with tape on the background and here I used
some black letters. Shirts are both colored with mermaid
lagoon distress oxide ink.

Easter Card

Happy Saturday!
My card today is for the
Weekly Challenge on the

where the theme is:
Anything goes

and for
where the challenge is  these colors:
mint, Pale Blue and Pink.

First  made the background with a technique
called Bingo Blast. I thought it was a fun background
for coloring Easter eggs. I used these distress stains
directly to the paper and this way you get these fun
splashes. It helps when you use a watercolor paper.

Then I colored the image with my Stampin'Blends.
The Image is from Bugaboo Digital Stamps and is
called: WOE Easter Egg (now for only $ 1.00).

Here you see the finished image, cut out with an
oval die and its matching scallop die by Sizzix.

The sentiment is from the
Crazy Talk sentiments by Tim Holtz.

and have a creative day!

Bugaboo Christmas in July 4

Here is my card for day 4 of the

Today it is a bingo challenge
and now that my card is finished I notice
I made a cross on the bingo:
Ribbon and bow - Bugaboo image - die cut
Patterned paper - Bugaboo image - pearls

The bugaboo image I used is:
(remember all stamps this week are half prize)

Also this is the movie theme and you won't believe it,
but I seen a lot of  xmas movies, but this one I misssed,
so I watched the trailer and now it is on my xmas list!
I colored the image with stampin'blends and
cut the image with a circle die.
The background in green with a matching scallop die.
Made it look like a bauble in a tree and added
tree little sticky pearls.

I found this matching sentiment on the internet by
googling for Elf movie quotes.

The design paper is from my stash and I used
the cut off part to decorate the inside of the card.

and have a creative day!
