On the 11 of
I used a sketch for my card.
This is the sketch
and you find it at the

Here my card: oeps another coffee themed card!
To be honest I had some other hearts in mind,
but I am still  also cleaning my craft room
and could not find my Michael Strong hearts
( I am sure they are around...maybe i do another card soon!).

I started making the background with worn lipstick
and candied apple oxide distress ink in combination with
mica distress spray antique bronze. it looks wonderful
in person, really!!

On top of the background I added images
with two Tim Holtz stencils and the
candied apple distress ink (THMS040/ THS075).

The image and sentiment are by
Love Cynthia and the set of clear stamps
is called Coffee Addict.
The heart is a die from spellbinder with matching scallop.

Here a close up on the background.
if you click on the photo you do see the mica spray.

The Daily Marker day 9

For day 9 of
I made this cute card
with a die I have for some time
but never used.

I love this ABC die, but did not have any good ideas for using it.
Today I had this LOVE idea by cutting the die twice.

In combination wit he
Love Cynthia clear stampset
called Make Happiness A Habbit.

Behind the die I added a piece of  design paper
with splashes from Club Scrap and added
a few heart stamps in the center of some of
the letters.

The little girl stamp is colord with Stampin'Blends
by Stampinup.

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge: Pink & White

Great find, these Club ScrapValentine stamps from 2009
(Heart to Heart) in my stash and combining it with
a Love Cynthia stamp is a perfect combination.

I made this card for the pink & white color challenge

I started out gathering various shades of pink
stamp inkpads to make the background.
The "be mine heart stamp"is stamped on a seperate
piee of paper as well as the little girl stamp.
The heart is stamped in pink and colored the
heart with a blending tool, leaving the words white
to stamd out.

The girl is colored with blending markers by SU!
and cut out. Added to the card with  foam tape.
This is the inside of the card.
Club Scrap sentiment and more hearts.

Of course a matching envelope
and some sticky pink pearls for extra bling.

Coffee Calendar Card

Happy Sunday!
After finishing 3 more Christmas cards that were on my table
and put away for the next holidays, I found this cute mini
calendar and some other goodies to make this card.
I think it will be on myu table for a year of coffee fun
for each month is stamped with the Club Scrap coffee ring
(that stamp is always on my table!).

The sentiment is a digital sentiment by Create with TLC.
The coffee background paper is from a piece of scrapbook
paper, but unfortunately the brand is cut of. Only some
small scraps left.

This sweet girl in the cup is a clear stamp by
Love Cynthia and is colored with zig markers.
On the cup and the heart I added glossy accent.

11 November: St. Martin's treats

Today we have a special childrens festival in The Netherlands
that is called St. Martin's Day and you find all info about it HERE.
It is a bit like Halloween, kids go with paper lanterns
and sing after knocking  at the doors in the neighberhood and get
candy treats. So this is what I came up with for this year:

Two kinds of packes.
The first one is a cover for a lollypop.
It starts with a strip of cardstock of 9 x 2 inch of your color choice.
Then score the long side on: 3 5/8 - 4 3/8 - 8 1/8 - 8 1/4"
On the top you make a little whole between the two thin
lines for the sticks. Next I stamped the circle of Michael Strong
in red on blue paper. Next cut it with a circle die.
For decoration i found an image of paper lanterns on
google and printed it on copy paper and cut it to size
to glue to the front and the back of the treat bag.
To finish the paper lanterns I glued tiny black strips
on top and bottom, made a whole in the top for a piece
of backers twine,

Here you see the finished paper lanterns that go on
the treat bag with a piece of foam tape.

Finished bags with lollypops inside.
On top the message says Happy St. Martin's Day.

Side view!

One more side view.

These are the other bags I made . It is a 6x6 inch piece
of designers cardstock just folded into a square package
with candy inside and tese cute Love Cynthia digital
images on the front. I have printed them and cut out.
The moon is made with a circle punch.
In the corner of the pouch I made a whole to put a ribbon
through with either a wish attached or a bat.

and have a creative day!

Happy Halloween!

It is Halloween today
and even though we do not celebrate
this in the Netherlands I made this little
treatbag for my grandsons:
I found some free printable pillowboxes online
through a google search
and printed those to decorate with these cute

I printed several images and cut them out with scissors.
The moon was cut with a spelbinder die.

I used the various images on the different boxes.

The sentiment is from Tim Holtz and stamped.

And here the third box.

These are the boys.
I made some pictures last week before
I cut the pumpkin to make soup from.

Thank you for looking
and
have a creative day too!
