Happy Rosh Hashanah 2

As we celebrate Rosh Hashanah for 2 days,
I made some more cards and today I share
my last 2 for this year.

This card is made with a direct to paper
mermaid distress oxide in and gold deco foil.
The golden circles are thinlits by Stampin'Up!
and sentiment by Zum Gali Gali Rubber Stamps.

The iside of the circles where
perfect to make apples inside the card.

Iadded some glossy accent on the apple
of the sentiment to make it stand out more.
For card #2 I also used a Zum Gali Gali
Rubber Stamp as a focal point.

First I made the direct to paper background and stamped
the stamp with the darkest of the blue ink.
The focal point is embossed with silver.

The cut off strips of paper were glued inside the card.

Shanah Tova
and may it be a creative year!

All details of the challenge are HERE.
Once you start using the deco foil,
you cannot stop! It looks wonderful on any card.

The cup and the sentiment are from the Super Coffee
clear set and die by Lil'inker designs and colored with
stampin'blend markers.

The background is design paper from my stash
and the bean and donut stamp from the
Coffee Break clear set by Honey Bee stamps.

Thank you for looking and

The Daily Marker day 6

As today the Chineese year of the pig has started,
I share with you a card with this fun little piggy
(a free digital image by Michael Strong).

The coloring is for
and you find all the details HERE.

I colored the piggy with Stampin'blends by Stampin'Up!
and gave the piggy a little real tail with some gold colored
wrapping ribbon  as I saw Mike going on his sample.
Such a fun idea!

The image I found when I googled for a
coloring page for the Chinese New Year.

So I share it here with you too.
I think it is absolutely cute!

In the background of my card you see the use of gold foil.
I added some glue here and there and added the foil on top.
Love this technique!
The Chinese lettering is a page out of a book I found
on a flee market.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
