Happy Birthday

Happy Sunday everyone!
Today my wonderful eldest daughter Yael has her birthday,
so she is the main subject of my scrapbook page.

Al papers are by Club Scrap.
The blac and the sentiment stamps are from the
January kit and the red is from the Coffee Break kit.

On this part of the page you also see the large heart stamp
by Michael Strong embossed with silver embossing
powder. The smaller siler heart are cut out with a die from
Michael Strong's smaller heart that maches the smaller stamp.
The sentiment is stamped in fuchsia red ink from Club Scrap.

Here papers and stamps are layered. Red circle, black printed
circle and silver embossed stamp, with a sticky pearl in the
heart of the stamp. The sentiment is from the Celebrate kit.
The B&W pictures are transformed in picasa. I chose
the option of pencil sketch before I printed the pictures.
It gives a lovely contrast with the color picture.

Yael, wishing you

and have a magical day!

Sunday Scrap page: City Walk

Today something totally different,
no babies!
Raymond and I went on a walk through
our home town with an architect. We only came to live
here about 15 years ago,we did not grow up here, so
it was very interresting to learn more about it.

The sad thing was, that this day the weatherforecast
predicted a Summer storm. When we left it was dry
and nice, but during the walk it started raining and the
wind became stronger and stronger.
We ended the walk in the mill and we went all the way
up hearing the wind howling around the roof.
Later we learned this storm was the worst since 1901!
We learned a lot about our town, but we hope to do
it again when the weather is better!!

The papers are from Club Scrap's Big City kit
( from 2012) and I used 1 & 2 of the ALSB pages of this kit.

The cut aparts are also from this kit.
The tile decorations are stamps by
Michael Strong called cloisonné accent stamps.
These are embossed with silver embossing
powder and a sticky silver gemstoon as an accent.

Thank you for looking and hope to see you back soon.
Your comments are always much appreciated.

Have a creative day!
