Welcome to day 6 of the
You know you can also make tea or hot cocoa cards.
Don't forget to upload your card to the linky tool
and maybe you are one of the winners of one of
the numerous prizes there are.

Today is national cocoa day in the US,
so here is my card:

The background is a real piece of burlap, that I found in the
dollar store on a rol for Christmas decorations.
The filmstip is one of the idea-ology items of  Tim Holtz
and the wood stamp is also by Tim Holtz.
The sentiment and the cocoa cup is from the digital set
(during the hop only $ 3,75)
The image is colored with blue markers
and decorated with a few sticky gemstones.
Hope to see you again tomorrow!

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Sunday Color Challange: Hot Cocoa

Here is my card for the color challenge
I used:
Stampin'Up! Cable Knit embossing folder
Michael Strong coffee and square stamp
Verve Stamps sentiment from Santa and Coffee digital stamps

You find all the details and more inspiration

The back panel to this card is embossed like it is a
nice and cozy sweater. One holding the cup of cocoa
in front and instead od a marsmellow, this lovely text is popping up.

The cup is embossed with clear embossingpowder
on the black in, otherwise is sweared. The mittens are cut out
of a piece stamped with the cloisonné square stamp
by Michael Strong (not available anymore, but there
are other stamps you can do this with too). Then with a
black micro marker I handdrew the stitches.

With this card I also want to point out to you
that next week there is the Winter coffee/cocoa/tea
blog hop. You find all the details here soon.
There are lots of prizes to win, so you might start
thinking about making a card for linking it to the blog.

Thank you for looking and
have a creative day!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop day 3

Welcom to day 3 of  the

I used an image from Create with TLC.
It came from this set and you find it here.

I decided these kind of cards will be my crd for this year,
totally different from all others with trees and snowmen.

I will just change the cups and the background papers.

The cups on these cards are from Lawn Fawn and
the set is called Love you a Latte.
Here two more cards. And i changes the color of the
sentiment in a more coffee color look.

The coffee stamp here is this time by Michael Strong
and you find his coffee set HERE.

Because today is also Cocoa Day,
I also made this cocoa card:
I used the same Love a latte  stamp set by Lawn Fawn.

First I watercolored the background with
distress ink, then stamped and colord the cocoa mug.
Added some gemstones for a bling effect.

Hope you all have a nice cocoa today,
the weathers is cold so I am making one.

Thanks for looking and
more coffee fun tomorrow!
