23 Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - day 4

Welcome Caffinated Crafty Friends,

Another day at the

Today I share with you a tri-fold schutter card.
I found this wonderful instruction video tutorial on You Tube:

For my card I used images by Paulette Slater.
She has a wonderful  Facebook page with lots
of free printable images and lots of coffee!

The card is a slim card when folded 2 3/4"x 8 1/4".
All images are printed with the computer  and
cut and decorated with a white gel pen.

It looks very complicated, but when you follow the video intruction
it is quite simple. And in the end you just decorate all the quares with
a picture or a sentiment.
Perfect for all the coffee images I had!

Back of the card with design paper and
another coffee image. All sentiments are also
by Paulette.

Thank you for looking.
Caffinated crafty greetings and
hope to see you again toorrow.

my left over papers for decorating the inside.

A close up of the image: the hat/nose and the coffee cup

Caffinated Christmas Card Callenge #7 part 2

Good day to my crafty caffinated friends!

Have you been playing along with the  #7
For details click on the link.

Here is another card inspiration for you
that will hopefully tickle your creative mind and
make you play along for this challenge with
coffee and stars.

The prize this month is by:
Twiddler's Nook.

For my card I used the Coffee Gnome by Miss Ink Stamps,
that I won in May  with my  gift card package.
You can see it HERE.

For the background I started with these two Tim Holtz
stencils and various oxide distress ink colors.

To decorate the card I used some thinlits from
 my Tim Holtz collection.
The snowflake is decorated with Nuovo glimmer
paste (it is a pity you do not see it on the picture).
The sentiment is from a Stampin'Up! set called
Merry Café..
Thank you for looking and
have a caffinated day!

Gnomes in the Coffeehouse

Today I combined the new Club Scrap Coffeehouse hybrid kit

So I startedwith stamping the gnomes
and coloring them with zig markers.

After coloring the gnomes were cut out for
further use.
Card #1
For this card I made the coffeering background
with photoshop and the Coffeehouse hybrid kit.
the other images I printed and cut out to use for this card.

The tag is added with bakers twine to the cup
and for extra dimention sticky pearls are added.

Even gnomes need coffee, right?!

Card #2
For this card the sentiment is also from the
Gnome rubber stampset (unfortunately not available anymore).
For this card I used the same coffeering background.

This gnome is having a warm coffee bath.
It looks like he is enjoying warm feet.

So there are two gnomes left for
more cards. See you soon!

Thanks for looking
and have a latte creative day!

Cristmas inspiration day 12: tag

Today I have a multi functional tag for you.

I have this wonderful punch by Stampin Up!
I bought it only recently but I have seen
so many wonderful ideas with it, I wanted it!!
So here is my Christmas idea:

I used Club Scrap Dungerees papers.
I started with cutting a piece of kraft colored paper
6 x 2 inch.
Then I punched the tag on both sides
and folded the tag in half.
For stamping I used the  unmounted stamps
from Club Scrap called Gnome for the Holidays.
I took the leave stamp and eart stamp ink
to cover the tag completely
and only colored the berries in red with pencil.

Next I stamped the predent on red paper with
the same eart ink pad. Cutting  out  the present
and covering the bow with glitter glue.

Add the present with foam tape to the tag
and stamp the to/from on a white piece of
paper,so you can write the name of the  receiver.

Inside you can add: a cane, choclate or even money.

You can have it dangling in your tree, because it is
decorated on both sides, or have it hanging from
your present.

This is the last of my Christmas inspirations.
Hope you liked them!

Gnome Globe

Another card idea with  the Club Scrap
Gnome stamps and Random Doorway papers.
This time i had an idea of making  snow globe and
I want to share with you how I did it.

As you can see there is embossed paper and a place
left to stamp. How to do this?

Start with apiece of heavy cardboard
and a shape you want to use. As I want to make'
a snow globe,I choose a circle.
Cut the circle with your die cut machine. If you do not
get through, use your scissors to cut out the shape.
If you use cardstock that is too thin you won't get the shape.

Safe the cut out form, for it there is another technique you
can do with using both sapes.
Now you make the sandwich as follows:
Put the paper inside the embossing folder you want to use
and the cardboard on top of it. You have to see what
plates to use depending on the machine you have.
When run through the machine the paper looks like this:
embossed outside and the circle for the globe in the middle.
Use the circle again to cut out another circle
out of  an acrylic sheet (like from the wrapping of your
die). Here too if it doesn't come right out, use scissor.

With white acrylic paint I paint the porders of the acrylic
circle and the embossed panelforthe card.
On top of the acrylic sheet I added some drops of
glossy accent and also around the circle.
On top some glitter to give it a real snow effect.
The white border  of the circle also  hides the foam
tape you have to put underneath to fasten
the globe to the card.
The parceland the gnome stamp have been stamped
on shrink platic to fit inside the globe. You see the
difference of size after shrinking with the parcel.
I stamped with black archival and colored with
Tim Holtz distress markers.
Here you see a close up of the finished globe,
behind the gnome you see an embossed tree
of Michael Stong.

Here another version of the card:
Here in the globe you see a die cut tree and
 the parcel inside.
The snow flke is a Tim Holtz die.
And this is the inside of the card.

As you can see the stamps can be used in many
ways and as I need more cards to send, I am sur
I  will come up with more fun ways to use the stamps.

Have a creative day!
