I made this birthday card.

For this card i used:

Floral Trims CMS461

Papillon CMS106

Bold Sayings CMS433

Distress oxide ink

Distress oxide spray Crackeling Campfire

I started stamping with versamark watermark

and gold embossingpowder.

Next I added some distress oxide inks on the glassplate

and by wiping the ink off the plate and on the card.

This is reapeated a few times until satisfied with the color.

When all was dry I added some Crackling Campfire splatters

on the card.

I used the sewing machine to make the border on the card.

Also some gold thread underneath the birthday sentiment.

The sentiment is also with gold embossing powder

and added the same colors as the background.

Matching envelop for sending out the card.

Simon Says: Make your Mark

A new challenge on the

Simon Says Monday Blog:

Make your Mark.

Now I received my new Tim Holtz stamps

last week and I just have to play with them,

seeing what I can do.

So here is the result:

For this challenge I used the new

Floral Trims CMS461 cling stamp

Note Quotes CMS 463

and the layering stemcil Brush Hex

different colors of distress oxide ink.

I started with stamping this Floral stamp in versamark

watermark and embossed with gold.

Next I put some colors of distress oxide ink on my

glass plate and wiped it on the card. When dried I

added images with the Brush Hex stencil.

Next I stamped the sentiment on a piece of cardboard

from the box the stamps came in. I also used it on the

background of the card. Stapled the image to the piece

from the box. Gives it a grungy feeling.

Simon Says: Things with Wings

Another fun challenge on the 

Simon Says Wednesday Blog:

Things with Wings.

Here my finished card with butterflies by Tim Holtz.

Here I displayed all the materials I used:

distress oxide  inks

stencils

cling stamp: Papillon CMS106

I started with a background I had lying around made in direct

to paper technique. I used my stamping platform, because 

I wanted to stamp several colors

Here you see the first layer of butterflies.

I also stamped them on a seperate piece to cut out

and add later on with foam tape.

I added the big script stamp and next used two

different stencils to finish off the card.

Simon Says: Stencil It

 

For this week there is a stencil challenge on the 

Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog.

This is what I came up with:

I had seen Tim Holtz Easter/ Spring inspiration You Tube,

but I did not have the raffia (which I thought looked like fn).

I looked through all my stuff and asked around, but nobody

had any. Then today I went shopping and suddenly it was 

there waiting for me, yeah!!

So I had to try to make the carrot:

Borring! So I got out my stencils and new dies

and this is the result:

Simon Says: Spring and/or Easter

 

Another challenge card, this time for the 

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Blog.

The theme is Spring and/or Easter.

This time it is a Spring birthday card.

Outside the bulbs are popping up and the birds sing their song.

I found some lovely bird design paper in my $$ store and

used it for this card in combination with 

Michael Strong's small hummingbird clingmount stamp.

I made this gatefold card. The squares on top of the card

open like a lock. One is fastened on the right side

and the other on the left side of the card.

This is the inside and here you see that on both sides there is a square.

The sentiment i used on the front and on the inside is from

Tim Holtz Crazy Talk CMS236.

This is how the cards stands and you can see how the lock works.

The little hummingbirds are embossed in white or gold

and colored with pencil.

Simon Says: Easter/Spring

 

Good Morning fellow crafters!

Hope your day is going fine and Spring is here.

In my place - The Netherlands - it is cloudy and rainy.

Only from the flowers that are popping up in my garden 

I can see that Spring is here.

So my idea for the 

Simon Says Monday Challenge

is to make a fun and colorful card.

Got Tim's Crazy Catz out and some Easter colors

to make this fun card.

Here you can see the colors I used.

The egg stamp is from the set Mini Blueprints 2 CMS146 and

the sentiment is from Craze Talk CMS236.

I colored the images with copic ciao markers.

Simon Says: Tag it!

Here I am with another card for Simon Says Stamp.

This time it is for the 

Wednesday Challenge

Tag it

and I also combined it with the 

Celebrate Spring 

    challenge on Instagram.   

For my card I used a #8 tag and colored it with

different green distress inks.

Next i die cut the honeycomb and used the same

distress colors a little on the honeycomb diecut.

Then I used stamps by Michael Strong

(the tulip and the bee) and colored the tulip with 

pencil on the kraft paper.

The sentiment is from Small Tag stickers from

Tim Holtz idea-ology.

Here is the finished tag.

The inspiration for this tag came when 

I saw the first tulip in my garden. 

Now I know for sure Spring is around the corner

Simon Says: Emboss it

Slothy Coffee

Here is my entry for the emboss challenge on
The Simon Says Monday Blog Challenge.
The challenge is:  embossing it.

I used two embossing folders for this card: the beans and the spotches.
The sentiment is printed with the computer, the bowler hat is from the
Tim Holtz set Crazy Things CMS237 and the slothy is a stamp by my
friend Donna (who is working on a digital oinline shop).

For coloring I used ciao copic markers.

Stencil it

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today i have made a card for the challenge on

the Wednesday challenge blog of Simon Says Stamp.

The challenge is to use stencils.

If you click on the button above, you can see all the

I sart with creating the background with two stencils:

Tim Holtz Gothic THS 026

and the stencil that belongs to  Wendy Vecchi's Let's Shop.

The distress ocide inks are Tim's latest new colors

Kitch Flamingo and Salvaged Patina.

The ribbon on the card is sprayed white ribbon with the 

same colors of distress oxide spray.

On the finished card I used flower die cuts by Karin Joan.

They match the colors and tones of my card.
