A cup of kindness

This is my card for day4 of the 30 day coloring challange

I used a digital image from
and a free sentiment from
I printed the image and colored it with
my karisma pencils.

Here is the finished colored image.
I cut out the image with an oval die
and also for the background I used the matching
scallop die for the orange paper.
This is the finished card. You see the sentiment
through the front in the back of the card.
The sentiment was also printed with the computer.
The background paper is dsp from a block from
my stash, but totally fitting here.

Here another look on the inside of the card.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Reindeer

Today I colored with embroidery thread!
What do you think of this?!

My card is for day 3 of
coloring challenge.

I found this stamp in the drugstore today. It is nearly
card size. It was real cheap. So I got it and then, you know
with cheap stamps, they do not stamp right (I tried many times)
So what to do: I cut it! I love the reindeer and the senttiment
is so cute!

So I stamped the reindeer and cut it with a die in a circle.
With a piercing tool I made holes for embroidery.

So with light brown embroidery thread I made
cross stitches to color the reindeer.
And after the embroidery was finished  a red nose
is glued on and I finished the card with the
sentiment and some design paper.

And how about this version that is not embroidered
and in monochrome tones. Just a little red
gemstone nose.

Thank you so much for looking
and have a creative day!

Thinking of you

For day 2 of the Color challenge on the
my card was inspired by the beautiful
fall colors all around me.
I made this picture on Saturday when
on the road to a craft fair. I knew
I was going to use it for inspiration.
Day 2 on the blog is special.
There is a big hop with awesome color inspiration
and wonderful prizes to win.
Go HERE.

For my card i used several colors of Stampin'Up! ink
and stamps. ( the following sets where used: Kinda Electric,
Gorgeous Grunge and Sassy Salutations).
I started stamping randomly the leaves. Then I knew I missed
the yellow color (but I already took the picture!). The grungy
stamp is perfect for filling up the background.
The "Thinking of you" sentiment is added for the
challenge on the Simon Says Stamp Blog.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Various challenges in a Christmas card

Ok, let's start the Christmas cards.
Doing challenges is the way I make my cards every year.
I don't like makinging many of the same cards.

I have been noticing this color challange thing going on
and thought it would be fun to follow it for this month.
So the challenge for today is to create a background.
Here is the background I created.
I used this pine leave stencil first on the
background panel and stamped the sentiment.
Next I took the swiss dot embossing folder
and rand the background panel through
the big shot and this is the result.

For the colors of my card I choose the
with the fun color that was me for Halloween,
but I love making non traditional Christmas cards.

The eyecatcher is the bauble on the card
(which is a SU! die) with a bling gemstone
in the heart of it.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
