Critters in Cups 5

Hello Crafty Caffinated Friends,

It seems hard to stop playing with this set

Today I will share with you how I made this card:

I started the card with the background using the stencil
Chatty Cups and worn lipstick and fossilized amber

Next I added 2 different stamps on top:
scribble circles with frayed burlap distress oxide
and vintage script with black ink.

Than i stamped the images I wanted to use.
Not only the Critters in Cups, but also one of
the sentiments from the Coffee and Friends set.

I also added a rol of washi tape from the set Flowerful
Washi tape to put on the background panel later on.

Next the coloring of the images. I used the same
distress oxide inks as I used for the stencil and the
stamping.

And here is the finished card with the washi tape
on the left side and a little flower on top
of the head of the cat.

I nearly always have a piece of paper left, for
I never cut the panel the right size for you never
know if you make a mistake (and than you can cut it off).

Thank you for looking.
Hope you enjoyed seeing the proces
of how I make a card.

Enjoy your day!
Caffinated greetings,

Critters in Cups 3

Welcome back my crafty caffinated friends!

It is another day of playing with the awesome  set

Today the dog is the main character on the card.
You may notice that the dog in the cup looks the other way
and may wonder how I did this. There is a mirror stamp, but I never
have a good result with it, so I stamp  real well and than
scan the image in my printer. I save it as a jpg and
in my word program I reverse the image, print it,
color it and cut it to use on my card.

The images are colored with watercolor.

The cup is made with the Layering Cup die set.
Here the inside of the card.
The sentiment on the front and on the inside are from
another Funky Fossil Designs set called

Thank you for looking
and have a creative caffinated day!

Masculine caffinated Christmas card

Hello Caffinated Crafty Friends,

Here I am with my card for the
#6 challenge of the
The theme this month is: Masculine.

So for my card I used a Christmas theme filefolder by Tim Holtz
and his Inquisitive stamps. The coffee cup die is a Big die
and the sentiment is by Verve Stamps (not available anymore).

I thought these men needed lots of good cheer in their cups!

The Merry Christmas is a piece of washi tape and of corse a ribbon
is used to decorate the file folder.

Inside the filefolder I made a card for writing your message.

Wishing you all a wonderful
crafty caffinated day!

Tag Book

Good Morning Crafty Friends!

Been some time since I post, but then again I have something for you.
I made a tag book and that is for real 12 tags all together!
Nearly all the materials I have used to make this book are by:
stamps, stencils, washi tape, papers, brushes and dies.
I started my project by cutting these colorful tags with a
Bigz tag die by Sizzix/Tim Holtz.
Next I used washi tape on the front and the back
to tape two tags togeter. You find  the washi tape

Some tags i decorated with the colorful kaleidoscope
paper that you find HERE.

Then I went ahea by using distress inks,
stencils and the Funky Fossil brushes.
This stencil is called Make Art.
and the brushes can be found HERE.

The stencil here is called Make Your Mark III.

Here you can see all the tags I made
and maybe you are inspired.

Here the back of the card.

This is the front of the book before
I bound it all together.

And now a little about how I bound
them together: The easiest way!
I stacked all the two by two tags
and sew them together with the colorful floss.
In the heart of the book I made a not.

I used some colored floss I found in my stash.
To bind all the pages together I have a long piece
of floss towards the outside and just wrap
it around the book and tie it with a not and a bow.

I added this ring to the front ribbon.

You find all the stamps and other
materials here:

You find it at nearly the bottom of
their blog post.
Here my card. I was inspired by something i noticed on
Pinterest and looked perfect for this row of coffee cups.
It is a design paper circle in the background and
dotted washi tape added to the the colored image

The sentiment is one from my unknown stash and
now I had a perfect image to use it with.

Thank you for looking!

Day 4 and 5 of the new stamps by Funky Fossil Designs

Dear Crafty Friends,

I have been so busy with work and makes,
that I have not shared the other two new sets by

The 4th new stamp set is called Blooming Wreath.
This is a wonderful set with a flower wreat,
flowers and cute birds. I have not even fully explored all
that is possible with this set but here are my first two
cards. One you see above and was started with
a piece of paper from the new 6"x 6" paper block

There is also wonderful new washi tape:
With only 2 flowers and a sentiment the card is
quickly finished.

The next card is also made with the flowers from the
set. These roses come in two sizes and the larger one
has a leave too. I colored the roses with zig markers

On top of the rosed I added silver glitter
embossing powder with  an embossing pen.

The cute bird is also part of this set.
I added som splatter to make the background
more interresting.
For this card i used the girl from the
She is Fierce stamp set.

The last set that is new this month is
This set has lots of stamps and perfect for
mandala's, backgrounds and lots of creativeness.
Here I used one of the papers behind the stamped part of
the card. I also used the Paisly Petals stencil in the background.
I only used a few of the elements from the set, colored them,
cut them out and glued them to the card with foam tape.
For this card I went all out. This is an old technique called
Modern Grid by Technique Junkies.
You see I also used the Let's Party bunny and cat and
the Be.You.Tiful stencil.

All 5 new sets are now available at
Funky Fossils Design.
Sarah Gray, the owner, was also on
and you can watch the rewinds and get even
more ideas of what to do with the new stamps.

Thank you for looking
and I do hope you come back tomorrow
for I have a tutorial and a stampset to
give away!!

Stay safe, healthy
and keep crafting!
