{Cupcake Inspiration} challenge 413

Today I was inspired by the delicious image

I found this dotted paper in my stash and
just loved cutting it
and stacking it with the choclate brown colored
paper. I think the die cut birthday sentiments was
enough to finish the card. I just added a fun party hat

amnd put some icing on the sentiment (glossy accent).

Now  I had some dotted paper left and did not
want to trow it away, so I used it to make this fun
spinner card for my grandson's graduation
to the next class after the Summer vacation.

Yes, he is my little star!
I am hosting a spinner card challenge on the
Club Scrap blog, so that is how I just
had to make another spinner card.

I love the idea to have the sentiment spinning also!
The star is a rubber stamp by Michael Strong
and the sentiment is made with the computer.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Club Scrap technique challenge: spinning card

Every month there is a technique challenge
and this month it is my turn to start the challenge.
It is an old but fun technique:
a spinning card.

A tutorial can be found on the
and here are some more samples of the technique.

This card you find on the Club Scrap blog
and is made with papers from the
C;ub Scrap Oopsie Daisy kit
(July 2014).
The sentiment is from a kit called
Fizz and is much older.

Here is another card made with papers
from the Oopsie Daisy kit. This time
I made the spinner with one of the stamps
that come with the kit. The image is colored
with pencil.

This is the inside of the card.

This is another card. Here I used the Oopsie Daisy
papers and stamps from Mocha Java (the coffee ring)
and  the Special kit from 2016 called Coffee Break.

And this is the inside of the card.

Hope you enjoyed my samples and will play along
with the challenge. If there are 10 or more players
linked up, Club  Scrap offers a prize!

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!
