Proost!

 Hello Crafty Friends,

Here are some masculine cards I made with the ladies of the carehome.
I used a new die by Marianne Design with "Proost" all round the circle.
This is Dutch for  Cheers!
The bottle and glass stamps are by Tim Holts (whine blueprints).
And some golden corner stickers.
The dark brown middle part is embossed with 3d woodgrain
and the background is a piece of design paper.

For the 2nd card (we usually make 2 cards) I used a coloring
page, but rezized it so it would fit in the circle.
Some of the ladies love to color.

I love using the Tim Holtz stamps, so I made another card for my own
collection. The sentiment: Proost! op je gezondheid, means:
Cheers! to your health.

For the background I used a TH stencil and rusty hinge distress ink,
some splatter and washi tape.
The images are colored with alcohol markers and on the glass I added
some glossy accent.

Thank you for looking
and have a crafty day!

Cheers!

Ok, so I was doing some grocery shopping, when I spotted
this bottle of wine. Perfect to have in my craftroom
and fun to give to craft-friends, so I got  2 bottles:
one to try and one to keep in my craftroom.
Of course it inspired me to make a card!
I used all Tim Holtz materials:
2 different stencils for the background
and the bottle, glass and corkscrew rubber stamps
the sentiment is Tim's too, but another set.

The ribbon is by D.L.ART and handdyed.

I love how the background turned out, gives a bit of an
Italian terrace idea. Summer in Italy and wine on a terrace.

The stamps have been colored with zig margers on a seperate
piece of white cardstock, cut out and added to the background
with 3d foam tape.

Thank you so much for looking
and have a creative day!

Happy Birthday, Raymond!

Today is the birthday of my dearest husband.
I wish him health and happiness and say
cheers to a long and healthy life!
Here my card for him with the great wine stamps from
Tim Holtz and a matching envelope.

Here a close up of the card, that I also want to enter in
the Food and/ or Drink challenge on the

I started this card with a pice of music paper
and stamped the grapes in versamark and embossed
these with white embossing powder.
Next coloring with a few oxide ink.

When you go on top of the embossed places,
these work as a resist.

Here the finished page after coloring.

Next I stamped the wine glass all over

and colored it with zig margers and a watercolor brush.

Also some extra images where stamped and colored
and cut out.
Here you see how everything comes together.
I also used on of Tim's paper dolls, sentiment ticked
and sentiment meta; to finish the card.

This is the inside of the card.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Sketch Saturday #511

Welcome to my blog today and I share with
you the card I made for the sketch challenge on

Here you see sketch #511.
It has been some time since I used one
of their sketches, so here it is again.
I used my new Tim Holtz mini bluepring #10 stamps
that I got at the craftshow I went  2 weeks ago.
I started out with making the background with one
of the Tim Holtz scrappapers. Cutting it to the right size
and adding some glass rings to the bottom of the panel
with one of the mini stencils.

Next I stamped the bottle and the glass twice.
Coloring the image with distress oxide inks and
cutting the bottle with a circle die and the glass
with sissors. The 2nd image is added with foam
tape for a 3d look.
For the sentiment I used  Tim Holtz small talk stickers.
Also i typed the word "l'chaim" withthe computer in
a typwriter font to match the stickers.

The glass is cover with glossy accent for a more glassy look.

And this is the inside of the card.

Of course i made a matching enveloppe.

Thank you for looking and
have a creative day!
