Club Scrap Technique of the Month July

Good Morning Crafters!

Today I share with you one of my #stayathome cards,
because Club Scrap noticed I was making them and
it was a good idea for this month´s technique:

Pair your favorite background
with a Club Scrap sentiment.

This my card for the challenge, it is also
card #86 of my #stayathome cards i post on
instagram. I made an album on pinterest if
you want to see all my cards. They are HERE.

For my favorite background you start with some colors
of ink (spray or cushion) add a few drops of water
and lift the ink with your cardstock from the craftsheet.
Dry it with your heat gun and do this proces several times
until you love the result.
This is only after the first time.
When you have not much ink left over
add some more, or add some extra water.
I always make a few backgrounds,
when I have inkt on my craftsheet left over.
You never know when you need more!

I also love using stencils, either on the colored
background or on an empty one.
It gives more depth to your card,
So many ribbons and findings left from my kits.
They are perfect to use on cards as well.

Looking forward to see all your creations this month.
Don't hesitate to ask me any questions about techniques,

Thanks for looking,
stay safe and
keep crafting!

Anything but a Card: Thankful for Nurses

Good Morning Stamping Frienbs,
It is another Anything but a Card Day

I made a tag today for a box of chocolates
I will deliver to the care home where my mom
stays. I bring them something every week.
That is the least I can do to thank them for
all the work they have to do.

Here is the box of chocolates I decorated
with the tag using the
Bugaboo Nurse Bear First Aid digital stamp.

I started decorating the background with a Tim
Holtz stencil and red distress ink.

With a dot stencil I added blue dots to
the tag. It is also a Tim Holtz stencil.

Here is the finished tag. The nurse badge is from my
stash and the sentiment is by Create with TLC.
The bear and badge are colored with Stampin'Blends.

The tag fits perfectly over the center of the box.

Thanks for looking,
stay safe
and keep crafting.

The sentiment is hilarious and comes with the image.

The paper in the background are all Stampin'Up! and
so are the hearts, latge and small.
These are punched out with SU! paper punches.
The ribbon is from my stash.

I can see me and my husband growing old like this.
Great image and I see lots of love.
The image is colored with Stampin'blends.

Brew-ti-ful Christmas

Today I made two Christmas cards with the Club Scrap
Coffeehouse kit. This first one is made with the
Hybrid Coffeehouse kit (only $ 4,95) and photoshop.

Then i wanted to try if I could make the same kind
of card with real rubber stamps.
And here is the result. You find the Coffeehouse rubber stamps HERE.
I wanted to share with you how I made the coffee cup in
two colors, so the Christmas tree comes out (much easier in
photoshop!).
For this i used my Tim Holtz Stamparatus.
I started by stamping the image on a piece of
post-it.

Next I cut out the inside of the cup
and added the inside to the paper.

Then I stamped the cup and after the inside post-it note
was removed, this is what is left.

Now to add the outside of the cup over the stamped
image and stamp the inside with green ink.

Here the rsult of the stamping.

I finished the tree with tiny sticky pearls and gemstones.
On top a little wooden star.

I created the sentiment with part of a Coffeehouse stamp
and part of a Tim Holtz stam. They fit nicely together.

Hope my cards give you a latte inspiration.
Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Cheers!

Ok, so I was doing some grocery shopping, when I spotted
this bottle of wine. Perfect to have in my craftroom
and fun to give to craft-friends, so I got  2 bottles:
one to try and one to keep in my craftroom.
Of course it inspired me to make a card!
I used all Tim Holtz materials:
2 different stencils for the background
and the bottle, glass and corkscrew rubber stamps
the sentiment is Tim's too, but another set.

The ribbon is by D.L.ART and handdyed.

I love how the background turned out, gives a bit of an
Italian terrace idea. Summer in Italy and wine on a terrace.

The stamps have been colored with zig margers on a seperate
piece of white cardstock, cut out and added to the background
with 3d foam tape.

Thank you so much for looking
and have a creative day!

Wishing all my American friends a
wonderful celebration.

Finishing of the card with sticky white pearls in the
heart of the flower and a lavender ribbon at the bottom.

Simon Says: Wedding/ Anniversary

This week on the Simon Says Monday blog
it is all about Wedding/ Anniversary.
As I have no weddings coming up, I thought about
making this years anniversary card for my husband.
it is only on November 22, but as my husband is not in IG
and not looking at my blog, I can have my card ready early.
In all these years, I never made him a coffee card,
but I think this is a cute idea I noticed somewhere
and stayed in my brain to use one day.
I used a heart border punch,
coffee mugs are dies by My Favorite Things,
20 numbers are dies by Stampin'Up!,
and the sentiment and stamps inside the card
are by AlteNew clear stamps. The set is called
Coffee talk.

The little hearts on the mugs came out of the border punch.
The ribbon is from my stash.

Here the inside, leaving room to write at a later date.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
