Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge March: Green

Goodmorning Caffeinated Crafty Friends!

The challenge for the
is Coffee and Green this month
and I created these two cards:

I keep on seeing these Fractured Panel technique cards
and I had a go at it. For both my cards I used my
Michael Strong large and small coffee stamp.

The sentiment is prented with the computer.

For my 2nd card I used a grid background and a square
punch. This is a fun technique I love to do.
You find this greed for free on Mike's blog HERE.

Thank you for looking and I hope you have a caffinated
fun and crafty day!

Caffinated Christmas Challenge July: STARS

Hello Caffinated Crafty Friends!

It is a very hot day in The Netherlands today, so to keep cool I sit in my craftroom with the airconditioner on making Christmas cards! The challenge this month is to add stars. You find the original post HERE.

For my card I used Tim Holtz stamps:

I used thecoffee mug from the  mini bluepint 9 CMS235.
I stamped it for the background and wmbossed it in white.
Colored the background next with Distress Oxide Ink Mowed Lawn.
The embossing powder resists the ink. I stamped one seprately and
colored it with distress ink and a water pen. The star is from the
mini blueprints 2 CMS146 and the square and sentiment is
from the new Note Quotes CMS463.
The Season Greetings is from Great Outdoors CMS321.
Small star punch for the stars on the cups.

I liked making this background so much,
that I was inspired to make my4th of July card likewise.
On the stars I added some Nuvo glitter drops.

Thank you very much for looking
and hope you have a wonderful Caffinated Summer!

Simon Says: Make your Mark

A new challenge on the
Make your Mark.

Now I received my new Tim Holtz stamps
last week and I just have to play with them,
seeing what I can do.
So here is the result:
For this challenge I used the new
Floral Trims CMS461 cling stamp
Note Quotes CMS 463
and the layering stemcil Brush Hex
different colors of distress oxide ink.

I started with stamping this Floral stamp in versamark
watermark and embossed with gold.
Next I put some colors of distress oxide ink on my
glass plate and wiped it on the card. When dried I
added images with the Brush Hex stencil.

Next I stamped the sentiment on a piece of cardboard
from the box the stamps came in. I also used it on the
background of the card. Stapled the image to the piece
from the box. Gives it a grungy feeling.

Thank you for looking and i hope you have
a great caffinated creative weekend!

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 2

Hello Caffinated Crafty Friends!

Have you checked out the
with all the info about the coffee hop??
I hope you did, because there are many prizes to win!!

Today I will explain to you how I made
the rocking card.

Of course I made a new one and for this card I used Tim Holtz
papers and stamps and also some by Echo Park.

This is the base of the card. The largest scallop circle die
(or largest circle die if you do not like scallop) and two smaller
circle dies. You see for the base 2 colors and one in design paper.

The largest circle is folded in half so the card can stand.
You can write inside or on the back.

If you like to decorate with a ribbon, do it before
sticking the 2nd layer.
Glue the two smaller circles on top of each other.

Now we add the two smaller circles to the scalloped one
by adding glue or tape only to the bottom half of the
back of the green circle.
Now the base of the card is ready to decorate.

On a seperate piece of paper I stamped the images I wanted to use
and colored them with copic ciao markers. I am still waiting to get
my Tim Holtz color pencils.
Cutting and punching out the images and using them to decortate
the middle panel.

Hope I have inspired you to enter the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.
Thank you for looking and
have a caffinated creative day!
