New stamp by Michael Strong

Hello Crafty Friends,

My good friend Michael Strong has a new stamp set
of two Octagons. These are mirror images.
On Saturday we have another online  class and we
will be using many cariations of this stamp.
Be sure to cheque my cards on Sunday for ideas.

Today I made some easy cards, just to show you the new stamps.
I stamped both stamps and embossed them with gold embosing powder.
Then I used distress oxide ink on my work plate and
did the direct to paper technique to get a little color on the image.
I glued it to a piece of gold paper and on a red card.
Around the gold paper you see some tiny sticker lines.
The sentiment is by Tim Holtz.
In combination with the octagon set I used the Seasonal Silhouettes,
These stamps fit  perfectly in the center of the octagon.
For this one I did exactly as above, but in green.
Could be a great card for St. Patricks Day.
I added the cloer with foam tape to the center.
Wonderful sentiment by Tim Holtz.

Thank you for looking,
stay safe and keep creating!

New stamp by Michael Strong

In the coming days I want to share with you
some of the new stamps that my friend
Michael Strong has in is shop.
This is the first set:
And i used it for this sketch:
I started by stamping the circle stamp on dark green
paper and embossed it with gold embossing powder.
The are cut out with a circle die and a circle punch for the inside.

Next the background: sprayed with peeled paint
and tarnished brass distress mica spray.

When all was dry I used an embossing folder
and some peeled paint distress oxide ink on the
raised parts.

Inside the top circle a golden punched out clover
for St. Patricks Day and a sentiment by Hero Arts.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!
