4th of July inspiration

Now that July has started
we see the red white and blue decorations,
cards and tags popping up everywhere,
so here I have my 4 days of ideas for you.

Starting with this card today that
you can make in a jiffy.

Take a piece of white cardstock
and some colored washi tape.
I found this cool looking red, white and blue tape.
Just tape it to your card for a background.
Don't cover all the white,
just a bit in the middle.
I took Michael Strongs mini cloisonné stars
and embossed them in gold.
The border I colored with a little red and blue ink
and fastened them after cutting out
with a piece of foam tape to the background.
As for the sentiment, I made it up
by using part of the Happy Birthday sentiment.
It is a bit tricky to do, but with
some practice on another piece of paper
first it worked out pretty neat.
The number is also a stamp by Michael Strong
embossed in gold and colorde with
red and blue ink.

Have a creative day!
