Club Scrap August sketch

Today I played with photoshop to make this card
with a beautiful picture I took yesterday visiting a
flower center. As it is very hot here (between 90-100F),
the best place to sit is with my ventilator and the computer.

For my card I used the Club Scap Lavender Fields hybrid kit.
Here is the sketch for this month.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Royal Wedding

Have you been watching the Royal Wedding?
Harry and Megan are married in a beautiful service,
beautiful surroundings and they looked stunning!

Did you have a good look at Queen Elizabeth?
Well she knew all about the Club Scrap
Lavender Fields kit and was dressed accordingly.
I made the pictures from the television with my ipad
and quickly made this pages after watching.

You find the Lavender Fields hybrid kit HERE.
Of course here one of the wedding pictures
I made from the television.

Soon there will be the official pictures.

Happy Mother's Day!

On this wonderful day for mothers, grandmothers
and mothers-to-be I had to make cards
with the lovely Club Scrap Lavender Fields kit.
Cards for the Mother's and a little gift (besides a bunch of flowers).
This card is made partly with the hybrid kit
and partly with the rubber stamps.

I started out making the background with the
lavender stamps. I colored the stamps with my zig markers
and alternately using the larger and the smaller flower.
When finished stamping I splattered some purple
splashes on the background with my watercolor brush.

The center part of the card is layered with a green
rosette, a purple circle die cut and a centiment in a
circle of lavender. This circle is an image from the
Lavender Fields hybrid kit as well as te sentiment.
I added the typed up Mom in the Tox Typewriter font.
And with a ribbon and 3 sticky pearls the card is finished.

And here is one with a green background.
The background is made with the direct
to paper technique and green ink
(rubbing ink on your craftsheet, adding
a splash of water to it and pick op the ink
with your background paper).

Also i made this little gift. It is a sparkling lavender
bath tablet by Kneipp.

I wrapped some burlap around it, tied it with a piece of hemp.
As the lavender is not in the garden yet, I added this fake
lavender (from the dollar store) and another printed
Mother's Day circle sentiment ( a little smaller then the card)
as a tag on the hemp. Could also be a cute teacher's gift!

 Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Club Scrap May sketch challenge

Good morning!
Here is my card for the sketch challenge
of Club Scrap this month.

You find the new sketch challenge each month
in the Club Scrap Facebook page HERE.

For my card I used the
to print out some of the design papers to use
for the background.
And the rubber stampset of Lavender Fields has
this lovely perfume bottle and sentiment.
The label on the bottle I drew by hand.
For some extra bling I added a sticky pearl.

Simon Says: Ombre

I just love this month kit by Club Scrap: Lavender Fields.
The stamps that come with it are so great for all kinds of cards.

Today I used the stamps to make a card for the
ombre challenge on the Simon Says Monday Challenge Blog.

The lavender flowers are colored with my zig markers
befor stamping them on the paper. I stamped the image
3 times and cut it out before adding it to the perfume bottle.

The background is sprayed with purple glimmer mist,
stron at the bottom and light to the top: the ombre effect.
Then the bottles are stamped in purple on the background
and one bottle is stamped seperately on a piece of white paper.
Colored with purple ink with a watercolor brush and
sentiment stamped inside.
For decoration a few gemstones are added to the card.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Sketch Saturday #512

After a beautiful day in the garden,
I spend my evening making this Mother's Day
card with Club Scrap's Lavender Fields in combination
with papers and a ribbon from the  Club Scrap
Sonoma kit (March 2010).

Here you see the sketch from the

For this card I used the Lavender Fields hybrid kit again.
The lavender panel in the packground is perfect in
combination with the lavender flowesr cut out on the circle.
The ribbon is from the Sonoma kit and I love that a piece
was saved. The colors go great with these papers.

The sentiment is made with the computer to.
I used the free font that combines with the kit:
Tox Typewriter and you find it here.

The sticky pearls are from my stash.

Freshly made Sketches blog for my card.

embossed with hearts. I added some Club Scrap amethyst

a felt doily from the Scandinavia kit. Ribbon and gemstones

Club Scrap Lavender Fields May kit

So here is my first card with the beautiful
Lavender Fields kit for May at Club Scrap.

Here you see the hybrid kit ( only $ 4,95) that arrived in
my email box today and I just could not resist playing with it.
I printed the panel in the center of the card twice
and added it with foam tape to the card for a bit more dimention.
The little bow on the lavender bush is from my stash
of digital images. Around the panel I added a little
Club Scrap amethyst ink.
