Christmas Wreath

Today I am playing with a stencil and a stempset by

Funky Fossil Designs

the Starry Circle stencil and

the Christmas Caracters stamp set.

I started out with the Starry Circle stencil and 

Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink.

After sdtsmping all the images I needed,

I cut them out and colored them with my

Stampin'Blend markers.

For the little elf I added some glitter glue

on her skirt..

After adding all the images to the card,

I added a ribbon on top of the circle

and decorated the tree with glitter glue baubles.

Also the heart of the snowflakes have a little 

glitter glue.

Bugaboo Holiday Critter Chaos Challenge - Day 3

Day 3 of the 

Bugaboo Challenge Blog:

For day 3 of the challenge, I made a tag

using the freebie in  the Bugaboo shop.

Glitter is always hard to catch in a picture,

but I used sparkle glitter glue on the stars,

the gift and the berries.

The background of this tag is made with

various Tim Holtz stencils and the tree ring

and the sentiment stamps are also Tim's

rubber stamps.

Club Scrap monthly sketch challenge

Here is my card for the monthly

Club Scrap card challenge.

This is the sketch for June

and I used it by turning it 45 degrees.

What I love to do is to pick one of my

pizza boxes with past papers and use it

to make the card. This time my hand grabbed

the Shibori box from April 2018 and see

what I have left.

I started the card with the use of the stencil that 

came with this kit and used two colors of

blue Club Scrap inkpads.

When the background was finished I found a piece

of the cut aparts and fastned this with the

washi tape that also came with the kit.

I was going to stamp a sentiment, but then

this piece of cut aparts was also left in the box

and after adding some dark blue paper behindit,

 it fit the card perfectly. 

Great sentiment for graduations.

The paper flowers are from my stash.

I colored them a little with the blue ink

and added glitter glue to them. They come with a little

foam tape at the back to adhere to the background.

Mermaid

Have you seen the

  Club Scrap Lagoon Kit?

Beautiful blues and great stamps of mermaids

 and fishes and matching sentiments?

You have nbo idea what to do with it?

Well, tomorrow is the monthly blog hop

and the arist team has come up with some

wonderful cards, scrapbookpages and project.

To wet your appetite I made this mermaid card.

The mermaid's tail is from the digital kit and so beautifully

colored, I just added some glitterglue and the sea star

is also from the digital kit. The sentiment is one of the real

rubber stamps and embossed with silver embossing powder.

You also see teal jewel stickers looking like air bubbles

all over the card.

The bottom is a combination of a metal diecut

and the jewel stickers. Behind the die cut I added

the light teal paper for contrast and also some glitter glue

to make the bubbles shine.

Stamping together

The other day after a family outing, my grandson

wanted to come to my house to watch some tv

and play with my stamps. He choose a set that

fitted his t-shirt!

We played with the dino's from 

Stampin'Up! called "No bones about it".

We stamped together, he did the large dino's

and I added the bones. He told me what ink colors to get.

He made a whole page with dino's and we cut

it to size for a card and added some on top with foam tape.

Then decorated the card with glitter glue.

Some of the left over dino's were also ued for the inside

of the card. And he even took some home to finish.

I want to enter Owen's card in the Kid's challenge

on the Simon Says Stamp Blog.

I made this card with the sketch from the

Sundaystamps Blog.

Here you see the inide of the card.

My grandson is a real artist, he made is own art show

in his room, taping all his drawings to the wall.

He just turned 5, so what will he make when he is

a little bit older?!

Spring

Spring is nearly here, but outside it is windy and rain.

Hopefully the sun comes out soon to make it

more agreable and cheerful. Let's start this Spring

with a cup of coffee!

Yes, there is another Coffee Blog Hop

and of course I play. This one is just

made  to practice :-)

For my card I used the digital freebie from

JessicaLynnOriginals 

hat you can find here.

I colored the cup with markers and on top of

the cup I used a Tim Holtz dotted stencil for

decoration. Foir the flowers I colored an extra one,

that I cut out and added to with foam tape

to the right flower to give it extra dimention.

The flowers are then covered with silver glitter glue.

The steam is made with a white gel pen.

I left out the butterfly, for I haven't seen those

around in Spring. Keep it for the Summer hop!

Behind the cup you see an old fashioned

doily cut in half.

The dark green back panel is embossed with a dotty

folder to match up with the dots on the cup.

The digital sentiment is by Create with TLC

and cut out with a punch, that has the matching

punch with the scallops.

Of course my card is colored for day 20 of

 The Daily Marker color challenge.

Spring is around the corner

Before I shared some tulips with your,

today it is irises. This beautiful stamp is by

Art Neko and you find it here.

It is a wonderful stamp, that only needs a little

colouring.

I coloured the flowers with aquarel pencils.

The background is wonderful paper called a 

thousand wishes paper and is in different colors and

designs and can be found here.

To give the card some extra bling there are a few

silvery sequins added.

Here an other idea with this beautiful iris card.

You see that on this card, there is also not much coloring,

the stamp is just wonderful by itself.

For this card I only added some blue distress stickels.

This needs some time to dry.

The finished card also has a piece of the wonderful paper

amd a ribbon and some gemstones.

Butterfly Challenge

I found a new challenge blog

and it fits my style:

It is a new blog and this is their 

first challenge:

Creative with Stamps:

 Butterfly

So for this challenge I got out my

Tim Holtz butterflyand other

Tim Holtz stamps.

I right away had this idea of making two tags:

one with happy and the other with birthday.

The background of the card and the tag is a combination

of watercolor and spray inks.

I stamped the butterfly twice. Once on the tag

and the second time on another piece of sprayed paper.

I cut out the 2nd butterfly and colored it with\distress

markers. On top there is some gloitter glue.

Here you see the 2 layers.

A little bling on a birthday card is always fun.
