Today we have a special childrens festival in The Netherlands
that is called St. Martin's Day and you find all info about it
HERE.
It is a bit like Halloween, kids go with paper lanterns
and sing after knocking at the doors in the neighberhood and get
candy treats. So this is what I came up with for this year:
Two kinds of packes.
The first one is a cover for a lollypop.
It starts with a strip of cardstock of 9 x 2 inch of your color choice.
Then score the long side on: 3 5/8 - 4 3/8 - 8 1/8 - 8 1/4"
On the top you make a little whole between the two thin
in red on blue paper. Next cut it with a circle die.
For decoration i found an image of paper lanterns on
google and printed it on copy paper and cut it to size
to glue to the front and the back of the treat bag.
To finish the paper lanterns I glued tiny black strips
on top and bottom, made a whole in the top for a piece
of backers twine,
Here you see the finished paper lanterns that go on
the treat bag with a piece of foam tape.
Finished bags with lollypops inside.
On top the message says Happy St. Martin's Day.

One more side view.
These are the other bags I made . It is a 6x6 inch piece
of designers cardstock just folded into a square package
images on the front. I have printed them and cut out.
The moon is made with a circle punch.
In the corner of the pouch I made a whole to put a ribbon
through with either a wish attached or a bat.
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
