Brew-ti-ful Christmas

Today I made two Christmas cards with the Club Scrap
Coffeehouse kit. This first one is made with the
Hybrid Coffeehouse kit (only $ 4,95) and photoshop.

Then i wanted to try if I could make the same kind
of card with real rubber stamps.
And here is the result. You find the Coffeehouse rubber stamps HERE.
I wanted to share with you how I made the coffee cup in
two colors, so the Christmas tree comes out (much easier in
photoshop!).
For this i used my Tim Holtz Stamparatus.
I started by stamping the image on a piece of
post-it.

Next I cut out the inside of the cup
and added the inside to the paper.

Then I stamped the cup and after the inside post-it note
was removed, this is what is left.

Now to add the outside of the cup over the stamped
image and stamp the inside with green ink.

Here the rsult of the stamping.

I finished the tree with tiny sticky pearls and gemstones.
On top a little wooden star.

I created the sentiment with part of a Coffeehouse stamp
and part of a Tim Holtz stam. They fit nicely together.

Hope my cards give you a latte inspiration.
Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Club Scrap June Sketch

Today i made some digital cards in photoshop.
For this I used the
It is their special 20th Anniversary kit.
There is also a paper version if you are interrested.
You find it HERE.
This is the sketch challenge that I used.
You can find the Club Scrap Chat group on Facebook.
I made the image in photoshop by starting with the black
starry background and filling it with the other images.
Only the ribbon is an image from my stash of other
digital images.

After greating it digital, I printed the card on cardstock
an folded the paper to make a real card.

As i ad some room left on my A4 size cardstock for one
more image, but not a complete card. This I cut of and
mounted on a blue piece of Club Scrap cardstock.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Brentwood dressing up!

I absolutely adore this image of Brentwood by JessicaLynn.
She made many freebies for the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop
and now she dressed him up for the 4th of July.

This image is a digital stamp, you download it to  your computer
and can use it any size you want. Print it and color and use on your card.

You can find Brentwood Owl 4th of July in
JessicaLynn's digital stamp shop here.

I colored the image of Brentwood with Stampin'blends and
cut out the image. The background is made with  candied apple
and mermaid lagoon distress oxide inks in the direct to paper
technique. On top i stamped some stars in the same color.
The sentiment is by Tim Holtz. After wrapping the baker's
twine around the panel, i added Brentwood with a piece of foam
tape on top of the baker's twine.

For the 2nd card I started making the background with the
stars embossing folder. I added the ink to the embossing
folder and a little water before running the folder and the paper
through the big shot. The ribbons aew hand dyed ribbons
by DL.ART and the sentiment is by Create with TLC.
(if you enter 4th of July in the search box there are more
sentiments!)

The image and sentiment are colored with pencils.

Ok, I just had to make one with coffee!!
I made the background with several Tim Holtz stencils
and the same distress oxide inks as above.
I stamped some beans from my stash as well
as the cup. Everithing is colored with SU! stampin'blends.
The sentiment is made up with part of a STAMPlorations
stamp and a Tim Holtz stamp.
The stars are sequins and hard to photograph the bling.

This image was made in Photoshop with a background
and sentiments by Create with TLC.
Brendwood Owl is also colored in Photoshop.

Hope I have given you some ideas for this wonderful stamp.
She has an offer now: buy one and get one free!

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Yom Kippur

Tonight is the start of the Jewish High Holiday of
Yom Kippur or Day of Atonement.
You can read about it  here.

This holiday starts with a meal tonight and after
that you fast for 24 hours until breaking the fast
tomorrow evening.

So i wish all my family and friends well over the fast
and may you all be inscribed in the book of life.

Before breaking the fast you hear a last tone
of the shofar (ramshorn): Tekiah Gedolah!

I made the sentiment in photoshop and printed
this in word, before making the card.
Then I colored the card with stencils
and distress oxide inks leaving
the place of the sentiment white.

On another piece of paper I stamped the
shofar stamp (Zum Gali Gali) in
chocolate brown and cut it with a circle die.
After adding a few gemstines I added the
stamped image with foam tape to the card.

For the other card I used the same technique,
just another image.

Here you see the Tim Holtz stencils used.

The image is colored with zig markers
and a watercolor brush and is an oldie from

Thank you for looking
and keep calm and forgive.

Twinsitting

Goodmorning!
Today we are twinsitting.
(like every Tuesday :-) )
And when I noticed the freebies on the
I had to create this fun card.

All images on this card are by CTLC.
I made this card in photoshop.
You find the 2 bears here
and the sentiment is from my
CTLC sentiment collection.

And I also found this sentiment
and this is so true.
I have to use it on a scrap page I think!

So good morning from all of us
and have a great day!
