After i finished my card yesterday, I was in the mood for
making another card with the same colors.
They were on my desk anyway!

Here the colorchallange again from the

I used these colors of oxide distress ink.

For the background i also used a stencil like on my card yesterday,
just not the hert stencil, but one with roses (forgot to make another picture).

For this card I used these fun tea cups by Verve Stamps.
I colored the cups  first with the distress oxide ink and
with the matching distress markers.

The sentiment is also by Verve Stamps.
The green ribbon is by DL.ART.

On top of the cups you see the enameled dots
in the matching colors of the cup at the heart of the flower.

Sunday color challenge: Fly

Today I have worked on a color challenge using
Michael Strong's large and mini butterfly rubber stamp
and a sentiment by Penny Black from the set Happy Thoughts.

You find other samples and the details on the

Starting the background panel with the large butterfly.
I embossed it with clear embossing powder after stamping
the butterfly random at the paper.

Next taking worn lipstick and fossilized amber oxide
distress inks to color the paper. The clear embossing
works as a resist and makes the butterflies pop up.

The sentiment is embossed with silver embossing
powder and cut out with an oval die and for the
silver paper I used the matching scallop die.

The mini butterflies have also been embossen
with silver embossing powder, but on yellow
and pink paper. The have yellow and pink gemstones
on top, but yellow on the pink and pink on
the yellow butterfly.

For the inside of the card i used all the left overs.
(I stamped a few extra butterflies in case I
did not cut them out nicely ;-).

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

Saturday card: Happy New Year

For the end of the year I choose to do a color challenge.
It is the one from the

For this card i started with the background of the card. I stamped
the square stamp of Michael Strong in versamark and embossed it
with gold embossing powder. Next I took a piece of gold cardstock
and with some number dies from Stampin'Up! I cut out the
number of the coming year. The cardstock is added to the background
with tiny red brads.
The snetiment and the stars is from another Stampin'Up! set called
It's a Celebration. Finishing of the cards with 2 gemstones.

Now I want to wish you all, wherever you are
a wonderful, happy, healthy, energetic
and creative New Year!

Thank you for always leaving your wonderful compliments

Art Neko: Panda Thank You

Today not only do I make card 10 for the
color challenge, I am also featured on the

You find all the details of the color challenge
I colored my card with distress ink and a blending tool.
The bottom with green and the top with blue.

Next I took this bamboo stencil and colored it
with the same green ink.
Now I had this scene ready for my panda stamp.

The Walking Panda stamp by Art Neko was perfect
for this bamboo bush.

After stamping it looks like this.
But panda's are white you will say. True!

So I stamped the panda twice again and

cut out one complete panda and from the 2nd image
I only cut of the head. With foam tape, I added the
panda to the card.

The finished card has a Thank You sentiment also
from Art neko and I used the stencil and the green ink
again to make the same background. The gemstones
are also Art Neko.

and have a creative day!
