Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge: August

CCCC32

Hello my caffeinated friends,

Here is my card for the August challenge on the
Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge Blog

The theme is: Coffee and Cute Critters.

I treated myself to some new Penny Black stamps:
Brew-Tea-Ful set and
Overflowing

The cat and the sentiment are stamps i already have
for a very long time.

The stamp of the cat is a cat in the box.
So I stamped and embossed the cat and cut it out
after coloring. He is so comfy on the cup!

I embossed the sentiment in gold, really pretty on the card,
but hard to photograph.
I just love these new cups!

All the images are colored with the Tim Holtz distress crayons.

Thank you for looking and hope you
have a lovely and caffeinated day.

Simon Says: Feminine/Girly

Here is my journal page for the challenge on the
The challenge is Feminine/Girly.

Here is how I made the page:
I started this page with 2 Tim Holtz stencils.

I used thick gesso and a credit card on the
scribbels stencil.

Next I sprayed some distress oxide ink on top of
the gesso in the color picked raspberry.

On top of the roses I added red distress crayon.

Now it is time for the hearts and red and pink
oxide distress ink.

I added walnut stain oxide distress ink and
musical washi tape.

I printed some vintage papers and a sentiment from
and colored this image with aquarel paint.

A little stamping with the butterflies from the
Papillon set by Tim Holtz and the page is finished.

Hope you like the end result.

Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!

The Daily Marker day 23: Cookies Challenge 111

Another baby card, this time for a boy.

Photo inspiration from the
made me come up with this card for today.

For the background I used the same technique
as for the girl card with a sweet embossingfolder,
distress crayons.

Here I used brushed pewter distress mica spray.

When the background dries, I color the images
with fossilized amber, broken china and mowed lawn
distress oxide ink and a water brush.
The images are from the mini blueprints 8 CMS231.

After cutting out the images, I used a fossilized amber
colored paper behind the image to gave them a cookie look.
Around the card I tied a piece of blue crinckled ribbon.

The letters on the boy tag are from Tim Holtz
industrious stickers and the stamped sentiment is from
the set Made with Love by Stampin'Up! as well
as the little stars. A tiny sticky gemstone for a little
bling in the card.

Here the finished card.

Of course I made a matching envelop and decorated
the inside of the card with the left over strip.

Of course I enter my card also for
day 23.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

The daily Marker day 22 and Simon Says: things with wheels

Around me friends are pregnant, so I need to make some
baby cards, so in the coming days, you will see some
more of these cards.

For today I am inspired by the challene on the
things with weels.
For the challenge things with wheels
I knew I had the pram stamp from Tim Holtz
mini blueprints 8 CMS231.

So i started making the backgound with pink distress paper
embossed with baby feet prints and colored it also
with distress crayons.

Next I used the halftone stamp (CMS260) with black soot
distress oxide ink on top of the embossed paper.

Finally i sprayed some distress Mica spray -
antiqued bronze - on top.

While the background was drying I stamped
the pram with black versafine and colored it with
worn lipstick and  picked raspberry .
The wheels are colored with black soot.

I gave the pram image a sentiment from the
Crazy Talk CMS236 stampset.

The paper flowers are from my stash and the Hello Girl
is stamped on one of the Aged Tickets (I used the
backside). This sentiment is from Stampin'Up!
and is called Celebrate Baby.

Inside i used the strip that I cut of from the
front to make it the right size.

I decorated the envelop with the pram stamped in pink
and the use of the mini florish stencil (set 10).

of course my card is also for day 22 of

Thanks for looking

Graciellie Design Fall card

Having fun with my new images from
Graciellie Design (the sentiment and coffee mug).
The pumpkins are rubber stamps by
Michael Strong and the background
is a piece of scrap paper.

The pumpkins are stamped in black ink
and are rubber stamps by Michael Strong.
you find them HERE.
After stamping I did the direct ink technique
on my craft sheet with orange distress oxide ink.
With the distress crayons I gave them a little
more color inspired by all the pumpkins
I see around me (in the shops ;-)

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Tribute for Betty

This is  was my Mother-in-Law Betty.
She was world famous for her applen pie.
She died last Thursday and we will burry her on
Sunday next to her husband.
So in memory of her  and her delicious apple pie
I made this card.

By accident Create with TLC has an apple pie
digital freebie here and I used it to make the pie.
The sentiment is also by Create with TLC.
Food was very imortant for my MIL, there
always had to be plenty!
This lady is a stamp by Stampin'Up! from the
set "You've got style". I alwaus found this lady
looking just like my MIL. Always perfectly dressed
and red lips.
The image is colored with distress crayons.

The background stamp is part of an old
apple pie border stamp by PSX.
I colored with distress crayons and water.

Apple pie and sentiment by Create with TLC.

Rest in Peace, Betty.
