Coffee tags and paper lace

Welcome to another Club Scrap Blog Hop
by the Club Scrap Arist Team.
I hope you came over here from
and seen her beautiful artwork.

As I am playing along also with the
The theme for all the artwork will be coffee
(and I think you are not surprised!).

The technique challenge we were given is to use
the paperlace and or the tags that came with
the Club Scrap March kit challed Paris Fleamarket.
You find these product in the shop here.
It was fun to play with them.
Here you can see all the projects that I made.
2 cards and a coffee tray. The color scheme of
Paris Fleamarket is just so wonderful for these projects.
First the cards.
For both of themI used part of the paper lace as a stencil.
The coffee cupstamps are from Club Scrap's
Coffee Break unmounted rubber stamps.

So I took a piece of white paper,
worn lipstick distress inkpad and a blending tool.

I used the blending tool, to color the paperlace and
color the paper behind it. I did this twice and turned the corner,
so together it looks like a square.

Now the background paper for the card looks
like this. I cut of the colored corner ofthe
paper lace and used it to cover the white part
of the card, making it look like acovered
table. I cut of the outside of the paper and
used it to cover the top of the table.

The sentiment is from the unmounted rubber stamps
from Paris Fleamarket. The cups are stamped
with worn lipstick distress ink and embossed with
clear embossing powder..The flowers are punched
with a SU! punch and two sizes are layered and
fastned with a button from the kit.
The cardis finished of with a ribbon from the kit.

Card #2  also started with using the paper lace as a stencil.

This time I put the white paper in a box and used
silver Perfect Pearl mist for spraying through the paper
lace to the background paper. I also used the
part of the corner twice to make a square in the background.
Then I cut of the corner and als folded it around the card
tomake it look like the table.
This time I stamped the sentiment on one of the
tags. This sentiment and the cups  are from
the Coffee Break kit. The cups are embossed
with baby pink embossing powder. The coffee pot
is cut out with a die from Joy! crafts.

This time I used a pink embroidery thread  through
the paperlace as decoration

And now for the tray. This tray is about 8 x 5,5 inch.
Just right for 2 cups.I bought it in one of those cheap stores.
It ha a glass bottom,so you can add a picture in it.
So this is the finished tray. I used the other 2 parts of the
paperlace. First I cut a piece of 8 x 5,5 inch from the pink paper
that came with this kit. Then the paper lace and in the middle
a piece of black printed and pink printed paper. Again stamps from
the Coffee Break kit.

The cups are cut with dies I have from Taylored Expressions
and the flowers are from the same SU! punch as
before (it punches 3 flowers at the same time).
