Halloween inspiration

With Halloween around the corner,
here is some inspiration for you.
For this card I used:
subway art by Create with TLC (only $ 1.40)
papers from Club Scrap
leave embossing folder
Michael Strong pumpkin stamp
Michael Strong cat and bat die
sizzix leave die

Here the inside of the card.
Can't have any left overs!

With Halloween you also need some treat bags for the kids.
So I think this year I keep to an owl theme
and keepit easy for the many bags I am going to make
I usually make different bags,so they can choose.

If you wondering wat's inside the bag: they are a Dutch
treat called "pepernoten". You find the recipe HERE.

I cut some circles to make the eyes and the middle
part is a circle stamp by Michael Strong from the
A tiny gemstone for a bling in the eye.
The sentiment is by Create with TLC.

Hope you are inspired.
Thanks for looking!
Have a creative day!

Saturday card for Rosh Hashanah

Today I have more for you than just a card.
I start with the card.
Yes,it is another one for the Jewish New Year.
I used some Create with TLC subway art
in combination with Michael Strong's
Rosh Hashanah Subway Art Printable
You find the subway art HERE for only $ 1.25.

The small tulips are stamped on green and red paper
and first embossed and then cut out to model
them on the card.

But i also made this legal sizeartwork to frame
and put on my side table for the New Year.
I printed the subway art a larger size then
used for the card.
After i printed the subway art I covered it with
post it notes. Then I took the honey comb stencil and
created a border around the word art.
Here you see how it looks when finished with the
stenceling and taking away the post it notes.
Here you see it finished. I used again my home made
pomegranate stamps (see here) and the Busy Bees
and Hebrew sentiment from Zum Gali Gali.

Have you noticed the cute pomegranate boxes?
I found the template HERE and thought it looked
great for decoration. Everyone on my dinner table
get's one with a sweet chocolate inside!
Oh how sweet the New Year will be!

Michael Strong Spring Blog Hop

Welcome to the Michael Strong SPRING Blog Hop

Hope you came here from
and saw his wonderful card.

My card for you is a coffee cup filled with
the mini-tulips.
You can find all Michael's wonderful stamps HERE.

For this card I used a real coffee filter
and sprays it some light Spring colors.

Then I stamped the Club Scrap's coffee ring stamp in
green as well as some coffee beans.
Then I cut it to size for the card. What is left
is going to be used for the inside.

The sentiment on the card is by Create with TLC
and printed with the computer.

The Tulips are all stamped on green paper and
embossed in dark green, then cut out. I used the smaller size
of the twotulip stamps. Then I stamped the flower again on
paper that I sprayed orange and gold glimmermissed.
The flowers are embossed in red for contrast en cut out.
The are mounted with foam tape on top of the green flower.
After stamping the cup,Imade a slit in the top
to arrange the flowers.
Wouldn'tit be nice to setsoon in the garden and
have my cup of coffee outside!

Here you see the inside of the card, with
the coffee filter background and a subway art
print by Create with TLC,that you can find for free
on my blog HERE

Saturday Card: Happy Birthday giraffe

Today I want to share with you how I made this
fun birthday card with
Michael Strong's clossoné giraffe stamp
and the free birthday subway art
from Create with TLC that you find HERE.
For the front of the card you need
your collection of washi tape to cover
the first panel of your card.
The pannel will look lik this on the back
 when you are finished.
Adhere the panel to a contrasting background pape
(not too heave paper) and to your card.
Take  circle punch (or any other punch
of your choice) and punch through all tree layers.
(that is why you do not use the too heavy papers).

Now you stamp the giraffe. I did not stamp on the inside
of the card for I was afraid that maybe the stamp and the hole
would not match up, so this is to be safe.
Cut out the image.

Color  the imaege with materials of your choice.

Now you can glue it to the inside of the card and make
sure the head pops out of the window.

I added an extra happy birthday on the inside
of the card. Hope you like the idea
and will give it a try.

Have a creative day!

More cards for Rosh Hashanah

My friend Paulette from Create with TLC
created this wonderful Subway art piece
for the Jewish New Year.
You can use this to make some easy last minute
cards for sending to your loved ones.

You can find it in her shop here:

The easiest way is just to print it postcard size and
add your wish and address on the backside.

You can also add it to your emailand send it to your friends.

Or resize it and make some
real cards with it.
I made 4 cards in 45 minutes!
This is what I needed:
a honecomb template
mustard seed distress ink
some stamps
ribbon
cardstock

For all the cards I used the honeycomb
template (Michael Strong) as a background
for honey is very important on the
table for Rosh Hashanah.

The apple stamp is Posh Impressions
and I used two colors on the stamp
The penny black bee is colored with pencil
and the wings are accentuated
 with gold glitter glue.

The honey jar is also a penny black stamp.

The stars of david are a Stampin'Up! stamp.

I can tell you:
grab this digital stamp.
It is only $ 1,25!
