Craft advise and coffee

For day 15 of the color challenge I came up with this
fun project.

I found the sentiment on pinterest and just loved it and
saved it to my computer. I wanted to do something with it.
Then i had the idea of incorporating it in a color page.
I had these cups saved on my computer and I thought that
was a perfect combination of two of my hobbies:
craft and coffee!

After printing my page I started coloring the cups
with markers (no special brand).

After everything was colored and  doodled around the
sentiment and handdrew the border I glued the color page
to acolored background. It looked nice, but I missed something.

So I cut out some silver spoons to add.
This is a die from Joy crafts (Afternoon Tea set).

So to finishe the page, which is7,5 x 8,5 inch,
I added the spoons and also

some sticky gemstones to the cups.
This makes it all come more alive!

I used a trip of paper folded in half and glued to
the background as a stand for my project.
I am quite happy with the result. It will get a good
place in my craftroom!

Saturday sketch card: elephants

Hello!
Here I am with another sketch card.
I found the perfect sketch for my
Michael Strong color page
on the

You find all the details on the

Of coure my card is also day 12 card for
The Daily Marker and you find all the details
of the challenge on the blog.

I started with coloring this page with pencils.
The page is too large for a card, so I scanned the page
and then I can adjust the size of the image.
Not only can I adjust the imgae, in my photoprogram
I can also adjust the color. I love the sepia color
and in combination with kraft paper and the silver
background I made this card.

Here I used the original coloring.
The sentiment is a stamp by Art Neko.
Also a few sticky pearls for decoration.

I printed out the image 3 times. The first time completely on
the card, the second image the mother and baby elephant
where cut out and from the third image I cut only the
baby elephant. They are layered with foam tape for more dimention.

The coloring book is not in the shop yet, but you can use
the cloisonné elephant stamp to make your own coloring image.

Thanks for looking
and have a creative day!

Sssssee You!

Here my coloring result for day of
The Daily Marker color challenge.
Here is the result of my coloring.
For my cards I used Michael Strong's coloring book.

I scanned the image and made it card size.
Also digital I added a sentiment to these snakes:
"Sssssso nicccce to ssssssee you!"
The snakes are colored with pencil.

I had printed two images (in case something went wrong)
and ended up with two colored images,
so why not making two cards.

Here is my grandson, aged 4 yr and 4 months, He loves to color too.

This is the result of his coloring.

Card #1 with  more colored snakes and
a leave background design paper and a red ribbon.

Card #2 I used a more monochromatic color for
each snake. In the end I  added a glitter ribbon
and a few sticky gemstones.
These snake cards are fun men cards.

STAMPloration color page challenge

After i finished my card yesterday for the
STAMPloration Blog challenge.
I had one printed color page left.
So why not make another card!
The challenge is to use the freebie from the blogpost
on a card or other project. It is a coloring page from
their new book Color Blooms
with coloring pages for cards and mixed media projects.

This time I used a honecomb stencil while
coloring the background with fossilized amber
distress ink.

This is the result when the stencil is removed.

Yjen i colored the flowers with carved pumpkin
distress ink. The center of the flower is colord with
a gathered twigs distress marker and finished with
a few dots with a white signo pen.

And here the finished card.
In the background I also used the
honecomb stencil

The sentiment and the cups (who seem to fit
perfectly with the style of the background) are by
Verve Stamps. The set is called: Coffee Helps.
