Sunday Scrap Page: 3 birthdays.

Today's page is all about the birthday's
of my grandchildren.
On Thursday it the first birthday of the twin
and on Saturday Owen turned 4 years old.
So many birthday's so close together
became one party on Saturday.
I created my own background on June's  Club Scrap
Boardwalk papers and used Michael Strong's circle stamp.
I started stamping the circle with versamark ink and
used white embossing powder.

Next I took salty ocean distress stain and mixed it
with water and painted it over the paper. The embossing
powder works as a resist.

I did not paint all the background, just half
and did a splatter with the ink on the other half.
This is the backround that I will use to add the
pictures too.

On the top of the page I used a cut apart from the
Club Scrap kit in combination with a sentiment
I adapted the image in photoshop by coloring 3 of
the happy words in blue and I added the big 's' to it.

I printed the names of all the children and used
some oval dies to cut out the names. As you see i also added
little balloons with the number of the age of each child.
These numbers are from the Club Scrap Boardwalk
digital kit. The balloons have been cut out with a
punch and then stamped with the same circle stamp as
on the background to decorate the balloon with
 salty ocean distress ink.

On the right side of the paper it looks like this.
The background stamping, names and the balloons
formed a border that i did not intended at first, but looks great
now that the page is finished.

Thank you for looking.
Have a creative day!
