Gecko for sketch #58

Here is my card sketch for the Techno Stampers blog of this week. I used Club Scrap papers and circle stamps. The Gecko is by Michael Strong.

Inkadinkado clear stamps

Ik heb zulke leuke nieuwe stempels gekocht! Het zijn de nieuwste clear stempels van Inkadinkado en deze heet Cats Galore. Ik moest er gewoon meteen een paar kaartjes mee maken. Hier zie je wat het geworden is! Als achtergrond heb ik scrappapier van K&Company gebruikt.

I just got some new stamps by Inkadinkado, called Cats Galore and I just had to play with them. Here are the first few cards I made with them. I used some scrap paper in the background by K&Company.

Glans/ Shiny

Het is lang geleden dat ik een kaartje voor de Wednesday Stampers heb gemaakt. Maar hierbij mijn kaartje voor het thema van deze week: Glans. Tja, dat is wel altijd moeilijk op de foto te krijgen, Maar het steentje in de kroon en de kralen glanzen en op de rozen en het midden paneel zit glitterlijm. Alle stempels zijn van Stampinback.
De grote letters zijn van karton met zilver embossing poeder. It has been a long time since I stamped for Wednesday Stampers. But here is my card for this weeks challenge: Shiny. To get glitter on a pictures is always hard, but you can imagine the gemstone in the crown and the beads being shiny. On the roses and the middel part I have addes some glitter glue. The words kiss me are on cardboard letters embossed with silver embossing powder.
All stamps are Stampinback.

Stempel de vlinder met zwarte stazon op de kaart.

Stamp the butterfly with black stazon on the card.

Kleur de vlinder met verschillende kleuren disstress inkten in.

Color the butterfly with different colours of disstress inks.

Stempel de vlinder op een klad papiertje, knip het uit en leg over de vlinder.

Stamp the butterfly on a piece of scrap paper and cover the stamped butterfly with it.

Do you want to add more stamps? Now is the time.

Neem een sponsje en de gele inkt en spons het hele kaartje geel.

Take a sponge and the yellow ink. Now make all of the card yellow.

Knip een cirkel van 8,5 cm en leg die over de vlinder heen. Neem nu oranje en spons een randje om de cirkel heen.

Cut a circle of 3,5 inch an put it down over the butterfly. Take a sponge and orange ink. Sponge around the circle.

Als je de cirkel weg haalt ziet het er zo uit.

When you take away the circle, it looks like this.

Neem nu een donkere kleur (hier: cranberry) en spons de rest van de kaart naast het oranje,

Take a darker color ( here: cranberry) and sponge the rest of the card next to the orange.

Tot slot een heel dun randje zwart aanbrengen voor het contrast.

Finally a little black for the contrast.

Haal het masker weg bij de vlinder en breng met een witte gelpen nog hier en daar wat lijntjes aan en dan kun je de kaart matten en afmaken.

Take the mask away and add some white lines with a gelpen. Now you are ready to mat and finish the card.

Vlinders/ Butterflies

Eens een ander Valentijnskaartje, eentje zonder hart! Deze kaart is gemaakt met de vlinder van Michael Strong, de tekst van CTMH en de swirl van SU! Ja, hoe doe je dat nu? Je maakt van de vlinders een masker (dat is dat je de stempel op een kladpapiertje stempelt en uit knipt) en voor de cirkel heb je een los kartonnetje. Stempel eerst de eerste vlinder met stazon, leg het masker erop en stempel de tweede vlinder. Kleuren naar keuze en leg op beide vlinders een masker. Spons de kaart met geel. Alle extra's stempel je met zwarte stazon ( tekst en swirl). Leg nu de cirkel er op en spons met oranje en daarna een donkere kleur. Tot slot met de bloemetjes en afmaken en op de kaart plakken. My Valentine card is done: a different kind, one without the heart! I used Michael Strongs butterfly and the swirl by SU! and the text by CTMH.
This card is done by masking.
Stamp your first butterfly, than stamp it on a piece of paper and cut the last one out.Lyer this on top of the first one and than stamp the next butterfly. Color both butterfliesand mask them. Spongue your square yellow. Stamp swirl and text with stazon!Now you have cut (or punched) a circle.Lay this on top of the butterflies and sponge with a darker colour. Finish your square how you like it.

Pro Scrapbook League at Club Scrap

Vorig jaar heb ik meegedaan met een scrapbook wedstrijd bij Club Scrap. Dit noemen ze Pro Scrapbook League (PSL). Vorig jaar kon je alleen scrapbook pagina's maken en nu kun je ook met kaarten mee doen. Hier is mijn eerste kaart. Ik heb hiervoor meteen schets #56 van de Techno Stampers blog gebruikt. Alle papieren, teksten en lint zijn van Club Scrap. De vlinder is van Michael Strong en het fluitenkruit is van Stampinback. Last year I entered a scrap book contest at Club Scrap. They call it Pro Scrapbook League (PSL). Than you could only make scrapbook pages, now you can also enter a card contest.
So here is my first card. All papers, ribbon and text by Club Scrap. I used sketch #56 by Techno Stampers blog to make it. Butterfly is by Michael Strong and flower by Stampinback.

Blah, blah, blah!

Lekker gestempeld met mijn Club Scrap stempels van januari. Een hele doos over telefoons. Leuk!! Heb gelijk een kaartje gemaakt voor de TSS #55. Had some stamping fun with my January kit by Club Scrap. All about telephones. I made the card for the Techno Stamper Sketch #55.
