Club Scrap International Scrapbook Day blog Hop

Welcome to the
Blog Hop on International
Scrapbook Day.

I hope you have arrived here
after watching Tricia's wonderful
project on

Here is my project for you:
It is a cardsize bragbook.
I used it to make a booklet about
Queen's Day, but it is also
super to use for Mother's Day!

This is what you need:
1 page of 12x12" scrap paper
and some matching colors
of 3,75"x 5,25" for
matting your photo's
ribbon
embellishe'nts
needle
glue, trimmer etc.
Cut two strips of your 12x12"paper
of 12x5,5" and score
both strips at 4"and 8".
Wen you look at the picture, you can see
not both strips are folded the same way.
This is how they look after folding.
Put both strips on top of each other and
on the most right fold you
prick 3 holes through both papers.
Through these holes you thread the ribbon.
Start from the outside to go in and follow
the numbers. You end up outside
and make a not with the ribbon ends.

Now your booklet is ready to decorate.
There are many pages in this little booklet
and because folded it is 5,5"x 4"
you can send it in a regular envelop.
click on the photo for a larger version.

I used Club Scrap Bold Bloom paper for the booklet
as wel as the red and white, the blue is from
Spring Chorus and some other cut aparts from
other kits.

Thank you so much for stopping by and taking
time to look at my project. I am sure you will love
what you see on Kay's blog next:

If you happen to loose your way, all blogs
of this hop are mentioned on the

Have a creative day!

  25. Hetty, this is wonderful! It would make a great announcement card for weddings. Add the engagement photos, map to church, and you could make the last fold the rsvp postcard and cut it with a perforated blade. Nice compact little packet!
