Gelatos Fun

Today I have for you a card
and a technique tutorial with gelatos ( or gel sticks).

I show you a background technique
and how you can use the gelatos for coloring
the stamped image.

Let's start with the background. You need a peace of water
color paper and an embossing folder and a embossing
machine of your liking. Run the paper through with the sandwich
needed for this machine.
When finished your paper looks like this.

Because I want to make a water ackground I choose
2 blue sticks and a green one. With each stick you
go over the raised images in a color choice of
your liking.
When finished coloring you take a watercolor pen,
or a water spritzer and  a brush.
Make the color wet and brush it out over the paper.
When you are finished dry the paper with a heatgun
and then cut tothe desired size. Lay aside
while you are going to make the image for
the front of the card.

You need your stamp, white embossing powder,
versamark ink,gelatos and white cardstock.
Start with stamping your image with versamarg
and add white embossing powder on top.
Use your heatgun.
Next take the desired colors of gelatos and rub on
top of the image. When done, take your finger
to rub over image and really make sure there is
 color everywhere.
Take a paper towel to rub over the white lines
and make sure the are clean and white again.
Now you can cut out the image and use on your card.
If you click on the picture you can even see a more
close up of the card. The sentiment is by
my frien Joanne.

Nothing is left, even the part that I cut of the
background is used to decorate the inside.
Have a creative day!
