Journal52-1: Up, Up & Away

Here is the first inside page of my art journal.

The 52 stands for 52 weeks and every week there

will be a new promt for a page.

For this week I was inspired by looking at a vacation 

my DH and I are planning. It is alwasy so much fun take a plane 

and going to new places, getting new ideas and seeing

so many wonderful and inspiring things.

So i took a picture of an airplane, enlarged it

and printed it on cardstock.

I cut out the airplain and was left with a template.

I used ice spruced distress ink to color the airplaine

on my art journal page.

Also I covered the airplain with a newsprint stamp 

(from  Club Scrap Up, Up&Away kit). I used a black

pen around the plaine and smudged it with my finger.

With a torn piee of kitchen paper i made some

clouds in the background.

I stamped the airplain stamp ( Posh Impressions)

3 times so I could add the worps Up,Up&Away in the

cloud of the stamp.

And after that I just doodles and colored some more

and added anothe Club Scrap sentiment stamp.
