Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop: Tim Hotz June tag

I have another entry to share with you.
You find all the information of this hop HERE.
For his monthly tags Tim Holtz has a coffee tag
this month, so today I share my version .
You find Tim's tage and all the information
of the techniques HERE.

I absolutely love Tim's tag,but unfortunately
the coffee cup die is not available in The Netherlands,
so I came up with my own version with things
I do have.
With this line stencil and two coffee colors of
distress ink I created the plaid background.

It is so much fun and so easy to do this, that
two tags were done in a jiffy.
I have the smaller coffe stamps and I stamped them on
watercolor paper and colored themwith the
distress markers and water.

The embellishment on topis the coffee bean stamp
stamped on shrink plastic.

Here is the other tag I made using the mug stamp
and colored it the same way.

I hope to see you again tomorrow.
Have a creative day!

  1. Wow Hetty, these tags are fabulous! I like the way you made your own plaid background and the burlap adds amazing texture. I am most impressed though by the adorable little tags that you made from shrink plastic! How clever and what a great addition to your tag design!
