Club Scrap Cantina Blog Hop

Welcome to the monthly Club Scrap Blog hop.

I hope you have come over from
and seen her awesome project.

This Cantina kit is such a wonderful kti
full of happy colors.
So what's more of a happy occasion
then the birth of a baby?
Well, the birth of two babies!
Here you see a little of my families history.I used page
14 of the ALSB (just adapted it a little to my taste).
My mother also got twins: my brother and my sister. Here
you see me siting with my brother and my sister and below
with my daughters twin sons. How precious are these
two pictures together.
So I was thinking, these happy colors are perfect for baby cards,
esp. when you you are not sure what gender the baby will be and you just want
to have a few ready. I took 4 different papers of 12 x 12 inch and
made 8 cards and 2 gift cards. Here is the template i used to make
all these cards:
You can do this with any color of paper you like. I made
baby cards, but of course you can use this also for
other cards. I used stamps, ribbons and other  embellishments
that came with this kit. Only the onsie is a die from
Stampin'Up! (Babies first). If you don't have it and
want to make these cards, here is a template:
Save it to your computer with a right mouse click
and use it for your own baby cards.
I tried to make some easy cards that can be made in a short time.
You see because i used the die,it gives right away
the option of using the background of the card too.
This way not many layers are needed.
I used the flower stamp to decorate the onesie
and the stickers that came with the kit.
On these cards you see Hello Baby as a sentiment.
Those stamps are frome a old kit from Club Scrap
(not available any more) but you can use your own stamps
there. Or write the name of the baby.
On the middle card you see stamped banners
embossed in lime green as a background.

Here embossing folders are used for the background.
One with baby feet (on the strips) and on the
other buttons - babies are cute as a button- right?!
So on the onsie i added the button brads that came with this kit.

And I even had some small papers left over. I made these
into little tag cards that one can add to a baby gift.
