Halloween for Coffee Lovers

About a fortnight ago I found this wonderful
girl as a freebie on the web and just knew I was going
to make a tag with it for Halloween.
You can find the image HERE.

The coffee cup is made with the die by Tim Holtz
an I colored it with distress ink and a blending tool.
I used a posted note for the line and a cut out circle to make
the moon.
The cat and the bird are metal dies by Michael Strong.

I colored the girl with distress markers.
In the background you see I have used Tim
Holtz'sspiderwebstencil and I also used
it on the girls dress.

The  ticket with the sentiment was printed with the
computer and distressed with vintage photo ink.
Tomake it intoa ticket I used my corner punch.
To finish it of I used a coffee ring stamp.

Thanks for looking and your comments.
I hope you all have a creative day
and a Happy Halloween!

Saturday Card and treat bag for Halloween

Of course i have some Halloween fun for you today.

digital pumpkin stamp, which is on
type pumpkin in the search box
(it is September 2014)

I also used the metal bat die.
You can find the dies here.
The sentiments are by Tim Holtz.

I have made a picture tutorial
and on the pictures you find what to do.
If it is too small, click on the picture and
you get a larger version.

And here is a treat bag version with the
same technique.

Halloween cats and a goodie bag

Here is my last entry for the
and not only a card, but I also
have a little goodie bag for
one of you who leave a comment to my blog
and it would even be beter if you become a follower.

So here is my card:

I used an old but loved  Stampin'Up! set called
Cool Cat (2005).

The boo! sentiment I made out of a clear alphabet.
I cut several 1,5x1,5 inch squares and stamped the
cat on it in an angle. Colored the eyes with a yellow marker.
The other sentiment is by Prikley Pear Rubber Stamps.

Here a look inside the goodie bg. There are four
different cat stamps.
On Sunday I will anounce the winner of the goodie bag
and the card here in this post.

And the WINNER is:
Vinita Jain!
Please email me your details,
so I can send you the goodies.

Thanks for looking and

World Cat Day

On World Cat day
I have to make another cat card.
I share it again for the
but also for

Here is my card:
The cat image and the meow stamp are by
Club Scrap from a UM sheet of stamps called Pets (2004).
The black and white words are stickers from Tim Holtz.

I cut out a white circle and left the die on the paper and
coloredit red wih a blending tool.
Then i stamped the cat on it and used a marker for the eyes
and the white spots. The black shape behind the circle
is another die cut.

For the background I stamped the same cat in orange
on white paper and afterwardsi stamped the word
meow on top of it.

The flowers are frommy stash (I have a box full of flowers
and forget touse them).  Hope you all enjoy your cats
and give them a big hug from me today!

These are the cats of my DD,she is also a big
cat lover. Meet Luckey and Dropy.

Have a creative day!

Cat Lovers Blog Hop

Today I share a card with you that I made for

I used to have a white cat, but
she died a while ago and we have
not wnated another one.....yet.
This is "Pluisje", which in English would be Fluffy.

This is my card for the hop
and Club Scrap Orient Express papers.

I started out with a card of 12"x 4"folded dubble
and rounding the corners of the card.
Then I took a stencil with burlap look
(stencilis fromthe Club Scrap Cape Cod kit)
and a white inkpad. This gives a faux ribbon effect.
The card and sentiment are stamps from
the Club scrap Big Deal kit.
I finished of the card with a few glitter stones from my stash.

Thank you for looking,

Have a creative day!

Club Scrap Big Top Blog Hop

This month Club Scrap has such a fun kit:
Big Top and see here the goodies:

and the color scheme:
I hope you found your way here from
and complimented her on her wonderful work.

Here I am sharing my ideas with you.
I have come up with 3 projects.

The first is inspired by this sewing box that I recently
got from a friend. An look what is inside:
I notices all these spools with sewing thread.
These can be used for great projects and suddenly
I had an idea.

I started with painting the spools.
Cut strips of the paper and used bookbinding glue
to glue them around the spools.

There was also this washi tape with the kit (the right one)
and I added the left one from my stash and used
it also to decorated some of the spools.
Then with metal wire and yellow wooden beads Imade the
spoolsinto a wreath.
And this is the result.
A wreath with a circus tent in the middle
and a big bow of ribbon from the kit  on top.

Here some detailed pictures. You see also the stamp
I used and on the tent Iglued some half circles with the
sticky pearls in between to give it the circus tent look.

So I thought this is it, I hav my project for the blog hop.
Well I came up with something else. I have these pocket
sleeves for scrapbooking and in a jiffy I had this page ready.

Yes,my daughters family is a great inspiration for scrapbooking!

Then I was looking around in the forum an noticed the toolof the month
is the envelope punch board. Ilove it and not only to make enveloppes.
You can make bow with it and boxes. There are many great ideas on you tube
and I found this treat bag. Yes,this kit is also perfect for Halloween.
Aren't these cute?
You find the instruction video here:

Here a close up. The lables are printed with the
computer. The purple circles are from an old kit called
Dreamin Color and had thes as cut outs.

Now for this orange treat bag I used a spiderweb stencil
to make it more Halloween. These treatbags are cute and
quick to make.

Well, these were my ideas, but there are many more.
The next blog is that of
and I love to see what she has come up with.

If you hapen to loose your way,you can always
go back to the  Club Scrap Blog.
