Yesterday my Club Scrap April box arrived with
beautiful bright colors and butterfly stamps!
This kit is called Dahlia and you can see it here.
So why not another card for the butterfly challenge
on the Creative with stamps Blog.
For my card I used an old idea.
You need a strip of 12 x 4 inch.
If you click on the picture you can see all the
measurements much better.
After cutting the card looks like this.
And folded it is a card of 4 x 4 inch.
I created the pattern of the butterfly
with the big flower of the unmounted
Art Nouveau stamp sheet.
I colored the butterfly is colored with pencil.
the side panels are pieces of a 12 x 12 sheet
decorated with the butterfly and splatter stamps
from the other rubber stamp sheets that came with this kit
as bell as the sticky dots.
Here some more looks of the card when the string is open.
The inside of the card
stamped with one of the sentiments from the
rubber stamp sheet.
You might wonder how I fastened the string.
Well with an extra strip of paper glued on
top of the back of the card.
Thank you for looking.
Have a creative day!
Another gorgeous butterfly card! I love the butterfly closure!
