Today it is my turn at the Art Neko design team
to share with you some art with Art Neko stamps.
So how about a tea party?
I found this wonderful tea set in the shop here
and it is perfect for stamping a background
and to have it up front. I embossed it with red
embossing powder. The sentinet with the kanji
can be found here.
The flowers are punched out of white paper
and then colored with a little red ink on the outside.
The inside of the flower is also a paper punch
and toped of with a red sticky pearl.
For this card i used the same tea stamp and sentiment.
The girl with the teacup is from a paper collage sheet
that can be seen here.
The flowers are made with two different flower punches
that are from Stampin'Up! and the background is created
with a orinetal flower embossing folder colored with green
and pink distress ink. All finished of with some thin
organza ribbeon.
Thank you for looking
and have a creative day!
LURVE these Japanese style cards, so elegant and perfect.

What great use of the teapot image Hetty - love the background in the second card in particular - that may be because I have that folder...
ReplyDeleteYour wee flowers are beautiful

I really like the teapots stamped in black for the background and then with the main image in read - and the little plum blossoms to decorate it add the perfect oriental touch.
ReplyDeleteBoth of your cards are so sweet! Great layout and colors! Pretty black, red and white color scheme on the 1st card. Love your dry embossed layer with the pretty colors sponged on your 2nd card. Great placement of all the layers! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOh these are gorgeous, Hetty! Love the pop of red on the first card! I love silhouette stamps! I am especially loving the second card with the Asian theme! Beautiful! Awesome job on your Art Neko DT projects!
