Simon Says: Play with Paint

Anothe fun challenge on the
The theme is play with paint and here is my card:
With Easter around the corner I made this card
with Tim Holtz materials and a cute
Easter egg stamp by Michael Strong.

I started the card with the wood 3d embossing folder
and 3 colors of distress paint.

After painting the panel I also sprayed it with
antiqued bronze mica distress spray.
Next I cut out the the bunnies with a steel die.

Here is my gold foil again to make it a very festive card.
Just add some glue to the background and rub the foil.

Here is the result.

Cutting out some flowers and grass from the wildflower stems 2
thinlit set and added also some foil to these.

Here are the eggs by Michael Strong, stamped and embossed
with orient express embossing powder and colored
with a zig marker for a choclate look.

Look at he greenery, awesome with the gold.

And the arranged bunnies with their Easter bow
and delicious chocolate eggs.
The sentiment is from the Crazy Talk CMS236 set
and the frame from the Simple Sayings CMS155.

Thanks so much for looking
and have a creative day!

Simon Says: Cute

Here are two cute baby treat boxes for
the challenge on the
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday blog this week.

After I made the cute Easter mini treat boxes yesterday,
I suddenly had an idea for these baby boxes.
You can use them for a treat on a baby shower, but
also to reveal the sex of the baby, anyway lots of ideas.
So exept for the Elizabeth Craft Design gable box die,
all other stamps and thinlits (onesies) are materials
from my (not so current) Stampin'Up! stash.

Here I show you the box from all sides:

The onesies are tied to the box with some small
organza ribbon.

Thank you for looking
and have a wonderful Sunday!

Simon Says: Miniature/ Tiny things

With Easter around the corner, I had an idea to make a little
treatbox for my collegues and this was perfect for the challenge on
the Monday blog of Simon Says Stamp.
where the challenge is: Minuature/ Tiny Things.

For the mini-treatbox I used a die by
It is called a gable box and you find a video tutorial
on the site HERE.

After cutting the box, I stamped the grass with mowed
lawn distress oxide ink. The stamp is from my stash.

Next i stamped and colored the chickens. They are from last
years Sellabration bt Stampin'Up!. This set is called Hey, Chick!
The images are colored with stampin'blends and I used a punch
for some extra eggs.

After folding and gluing the bo, the images are added
with foam tape to make them stand out a little.
Her 2 sides of the box and

here the other side. The tag is stamped with a sentiment
from another set by Stampin´Up! called Easter Lamb.
The tag is fastned  with a piece of organza ribbon.

Inside the box there is some chocolate.

Purim

As I told here before, I have a suitcase full of old pictures.
Yesterday I was looking in it again and found all these
pictures with people being dressed up!
I lay them on the table and it looked like a sprappage in
the making!

Yesterday and today the Jewish people are celebrating
a holiday with a lot of dressing up! Why? Well read all about
this holiday here.

And this is my finished page.

I dug into my stash of Jewish rubber stamps and
found this big Purim stamp and the smaller "chag sameach"
stamp. This is Hebrew for Happy holiday.

I used the stiched slots die (by Tim Holtz) to add little
notes of the persons on the pictures. Right in front you see me
and my daughter (about 3yrs old). Next to every picture
there is a number and this corresponds with the notes
I added in the slots.
Thank you for looking
and have a happy creative day!
