Uitdaging/ Challenge Wednesdaystampers Fleur-de-lis

De nieuwe uitdaging van de Wednesdaystampers is Fleur-de-lis, de Franse Lelie, die je veelal in de heraldiek ziet. Het symbool werd voor het eerst door Filips I van Frankrijk in de elfde eeuw gebruikt. Het is een prachtig symbool om in de kunst te gebruiken, dus heb ik er een tegel van gemaakt. Met een pons als eerte de vierkantjes gemaakt en bestempeld met een antieke achtergrond (Verheesstempel) en daarna de Franse lelie. Beide met inkt van kaleidacolor blue breeze. De Franse lelie is van Homedeco van sudio light. Daarna de tegeltjes met de zelfde inkt met een stempel van de Stempelmakers. De labels zijn van Invoke art. Deze zijn gestempeld met stazon azure. In het midden zie je twee bewerkte stylestones. Eerst met alcohol inkt blauw en gaud en daarna met de antieke stempel en de lelie bestempeld met stazon azure en geembossed met clear embossingpoeder. De kraaltjes komen uit Turkije, die had ik nog van een vakantie!
The new challenge of the Wednesdaystampers is "Fleur-de-Lis", the French Lilly which you see often in heraldry. The Frankish king Clovis the I used it for the first time in the 11th Century. It is a beautiful symbol to use in art and I used it to make this tile. I started with punching the squares. Stamping them with an antique cracle (by Verhees) and than I stamped the lilly (by Homedeco Studio light) on top with a Kaleidacolor inkpad (blue breeze). Than I stamped the tulip tiles with the same ink by a Dutch stampingfirm called "de Stempelmakers" . The labels are by Invoke art and stamped wit Stazon azure. In the middle you see stylestones which are first stamped with blue and gold alcohol ink and than stamped with the cracle and the lilly with stazon azure and embossed with thick clear embossingpowder. The beads I had left from a holiday in Turky.

Kalender Kaart/ Calendar Card

Deze kaart is een van mijn meest succesvolle projecten op mijn website. Al vroeg in het nieuwe jaar krijg ik de vraag of het patroon voor het jaar daarop al komt en dus heb ik het weer gemaakt. Het patroon voor 2008 is klaar.
Hier weer een nieuwe voorbeeld kaart. Dit keer met papier van de nieuwste kit van Club Scrap (Simply Beautiful).
Het kalendertje heb ik deze keer ergens anders gevonden als nog op de website staat.

This card is one of my most succesfull projects on my website. Early in the new year I get requests for the template for the next year, so I made it for you to use. Please visit my website for the 2008 pattern.

Charm Challenge

Hier is mijn kaart voor de uitdaging bij Caardvark. Het is de bedoeling dat je een charm op je werkstuk gebruikt. Ik heb een babykaart gemaakt, met een charm van krimpfolie (stempel van Maya Road) en twee voetjes (set Cuddles & Tickles van Stampin'Up!) en een metalen kroontje.
De baby en de tekst zijn ook van dezelfde set van Stampin'Up! en de filmstrip is van Judi Kins. This card is for the Caardvark challenge. It is all about charms. I made this baby card with charms from shrink plastic and metal. The carm on the ribbon is from a clear stamp by Maya Road. The feet, baby and text are from a set by Stampin'Up! (Cuddles & Tickles). The filmstrip is by Judi Kins.

Wednesdaystampers: Turquoise

Nu ik weer thuis ben, moet ik dus even eerst iets creatiefs doen, heb tenslotte een hele week niets gedaa! Heb gekozen voor de uitdaging van de Wednesdaystampers, want daarbij kan ik in iedergeval een van mijn nieuwe stempels gebruiken. De kleur turquoise is geen enkel probleem voor mij, want daar heb ik veel van. Hier het resultaat.

Gebruikte stempels: Gezicht en mond zijn van Judi Kins, swirl achtergrond van Dawn Houser, de tekst van Club Scrap (stratosphere) en het mehndi swirl randje van All night Media. Now I am home, I just have to do something creative. I choose to de the Wednesdaystampers challenge. At least I can use my new stamp and the turquoise color is no problem at all!! Here you see the result.

Terug uit Berlijn/ Back from Berlin

Jacob's ladder

Vandaag heb ik een project gemaakt, dat je kunt zien op Crafttvweekly. Daar is elke vrijdag een nieuwe uitzending met een leuk project. Dit keer was het de Jacob's Ladder

Ik heb natuurlijk mijn koffie papier van Club Scrap's Mocca Java remix te voorschijn gehaald.

Kijk voor het resultaat naar de foto's. De hele handleiding kun je bij crafttv zien.

Het lint dat ik heb gebruikt komt van internet van bargainpack (ga dan naar Fibers, Twill and Mesh).

Today I made the Crafttvweekly project. They have a new project every Friday. This time it is Jacob'Ladder. Of course I took out my Mocca Java remix papers from Club Scrap. See for the result from my pictures. How to do it is easily shown at crafttv.

The ribbon I used is from bargainpack ( choose: Fibers, Twill and Mesh).

Nog meer restjes!/ More scraps!

Jullie kennen dat vast ook wel: je hebt mooi papier gebruikt en nog allerlei restjes over, ook gestempelde plaatjes enz. . Je doet ze in een doos en dan.......
Dan maak je van de restjes weer een kaart. Hier zie je er een van allerlei Club Scrap papier-reepjes. Maak alle reepjes de zelfe maat en spons ze dan aan de zijkant met bruine inkt. De tulpen zijn van een restje van een stempelafdruk, die ik ook nog wel eens dacht te gebruiken. Plak alles op een bijpassende ondergrond. Alleen voor de kaart moet je echt een stuk papier snijden. Vaak gebruik ik dan vellen waar ik eigenlijk niets bij kan bedenken. Van 1 scrapvel heb je 2 vierkante kaarten. You just made some great cards or lay outs and have many scraps laying around, some stamping prints etc. What to do? Well, let's put it all in a box...for later on?! Or make a scrap card! You take some strips that look good together, make them the same size and dab some brown stamping ink around the sides. Use some prints you have lying around. Here I used a Club Scrap stamp and paper from different kits. Glue them to a piece of background you have lying around. Only for the card you need to cut up a scrappaper. I usually use one that I see no use for. When cut in half you can make two cards.

Restkaart 2/ "Scrap"card 2

Nog een restjes kaart. Het is echt leuk om te doen. Hier restjes van de Fizz kit van Club Scrap.
Vierkantjes met de vierkant pons en alle spullen komen verder uit deze doos. Stencil, stempels en gaatjesband gebruikt. Just an other scrap card. It is so much fiun to do. I used all kinds of scrap from the Fizz kit from Club Scrap. Squares are don with square punch. Stamps, stencil, circle tape: I have use it all.

Restjes kaart/ "Scrap"card

Dit is een hele eenvoudige kaart om te maken van alle restjes die je nog hebt liggen. Ik heb deze kaart gemaakt van de restjes van de Club Scrap Stratosphere kit terwijl ik aan het wachten ben op de nieuwe doos. Je kunt hem al zien op de Club Scrap website.
De vierkantjes en de bloemetjes zijn gemaakt met een pons. De kraaltjes zijn geplakt met tacky tape en het gestempelde vierkantje is een restje spin&splash met de grote stempel uit de doos erop. Fibers, lint, grote brad en sticker: alles uit de laatste Club Scrap doos.

This is an easy card for using up all the scraps you have lying around. This card is made op all the bits and pieces I had left from the last Club Scrap kit Stratosphere while waiting for my new box to arrive. You can see the new kit on the Club Scrap website.

I used punches for the squares and the flowers. The beads are glued with tacky tape and the stamped square is a left over from the spin&splash card stamped with the big stamp from the kit.Fibres, ribbon, big brad and sticker all are from the last Club Scrap box.

WednesdayStampers Egyptian

Geinspireerd op de Egyptische kunst heb ik deze kaart gemaakt met het plaatje van een Nubische Princes. Het is een beetje grungy-stijl, maar toch weer anders. Links onderaan zit een met alcohol inkt bestempeld plaatje mica. Hij is voor de uitdaging van de Wednesdaystampers.
Gebruikte stempels: tekst van Club Scrap Paisley, pilaar van PSX en de swirl is van All Night Media.

Inspired by Egyptian art, I made this card of a Nubian Princess. It is a kind of grungy style card, but different. Down left I stamped on a plate of mica with alcohol ink. This card is for the challenge of the Wednesdaystampers.
Used stamps: tekst by Club Scrap Paisley, pillar by PSX and swirl by All Night Media.

Puzzel kaart/ Puzzle piece-card

Als je van je vriendin van die mooie stevige puzzelstukken krijgt, moet je er natuurlijk ook wat mee doen. Hier is mijn eerste poging met Stratosphere papier en stempels van Club Scrap, alleen in de cirkel heb ik een Stempel gebruikt uit de Tim Holtz collection van Stampers Anonymous (MA-1102).
Het Puzzeltuk heb ik aan de achterkant gebruikt, de grijze kant. Eerst met butterscotch acrylverf behandelt en daarna de cirkel erop met off-white. Ik heb met Adirondack stempelinkt erop gestempeld in de kleur espresso. Dit ga ik vast nog wel eens doen!

If you get such nice puzzle pieces from a friend, one should use them! So this is my first try with paper and stamps from the Stratosphere kit from Club Scrap, except for the stamp in the circle. This stamp is from the Tim Holtz collection from Stampers Anonymous (MA-1102).
I painted the grey side from the puzzle piece with butterscotch acrylic paint and off white in the circle. Stamped with Adirondack espresso. I think I will do this again.

Uitdaging "Framed"/ Challenge "Framed

Deze keer meegedaan aan een uitdaging, die je kunt vinden op Wednesdaystamper, waar elke woensdag een nieuwe opdracht te vinden is. Heb een goststempel achtergrond gemaakt. Alle stempels zijn van de Mocca Java Remix van Club Scrap, evenals het papier.
